The Aldcliffe Hut has been beautifully handmade with everything you need to enjoy your stay including a wood burning stove and a magical pull down bed. The Hut offers the best of all worlds: it borders a nature reserve, is just 0.7 miles from Lancaster station, is a 10 minute walk from the historic city centre, with its many cafés and museums and a stone's throw from the Lancaster Canal where you can amble along taking in the wildlife, boats and pubs. Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

Its just a short drive to Keswick and its vibrant town centre where you will find plenty of things to do. Take a stroll across the road to the village of Braithwaite, home to charming pubs, a local shop and a cafe. And with hundreds of walks from the hut you can do as much or as little as you wish.

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.

One of two traditional wooden shepherd's huts situated at the top of the beautiful Wasdale valley on a working Lakeland hill farm. Both huts have spectacular lake views over Wastwater and the surrounding fells and are the perfect bases for outdoor activities. Each hut comes complete with its own bathroom with shower, kitchen area and outdoor seating with BBQ. The shepherd's huts are brand new for summer 2022 and are currently being built from scratch here on the farm.
