Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Lake Huron

Had a fabulous (and alas, all-too-brief) stay at this architectural gem, located in a quiet and tranquil setting just a few minutes from the centre of Owen Sound. Sim was a wonderful host -- communicative and with lots of tips for things to see and do in the district. We aim to return as soon as possible!

Lynn's place was perfect for my short stay in Midland. It was very easy to find and Lynn was there to greet me and show me around. I had a safe parking space on the driveway and the suite was private, comfortable and cozy. Lynn even brought down breakfast for me both days which was so much appreciated. I recommend Lynn's place to other guests.

Diana and Eric were an absolute pleasure to stay with. The bnb felt very cozy and provided the perfect “cabin in the woods” vibe. The hosts were always willing to help and the household pets were delightful.

Great hosts always welcoming. Stay here a few times each summer. A few minutes drive from the beach, great property and very clean place. Rooms have everything you need from Wifi, Tv with Netflix, small fridge, fans with remote. Always appreciate the snacks/breakfast/coffee in the morning. Highly recommend staying here. Will be back, thanks for the hospitality.

A wonderful stay at Marilyn’s beautiful home. She was a very gracious and lovely host. Everything was very comfortable and clean and it was a true pleasure to sit out on the porch and able to be able to walk to the Square and the Celtic Roots Festival so easily. Marilyn cooked us delicious breakfasts and made sure we had everything we could have wanted. This is a true gem! Highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Had a great overnight stay here. Very comfortable room. Hosts are very friendly and gave us good recommendations for local food. The breakfast they served was delicious. Will try to come back here again.

We had a great one-night stay with Lykke and Henry in their lovely traditional B&B. Easy stress-free check-in, room and amenities just as described. Beautiful historic home. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and theatre. We hope to stay again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt very welcome and extremely well taken care of. We intend to return to this BnB, as this was one of our most pleasurable experiences in our worldwide travels.

Anna and Andrew were super welcoming. Both of them are artists, so the house they own is culturally rich--you see many artworks and souvenirs. Anna's husband, Andrew, could tell us the stories behind the artworks and souvenirs from different countries with dazzling enthusiasm. When Andrew heard of my violin background, he brought me a violin to play. My attempt on that violin wasn't perfect, but I felt good enough. At Anna's house, you learn lessons in dining etiquette, cultural differences, and aesthetic tastes. There is no question about the service quality at Anna's house, but the experience you get exceeds what you pay. I sincerely wish Anna's family to stay healthy and have fun with visitors from all over the world.

Excellent stay as usual! Marilyn is a very thoughtful host and responds quickly. Location is great for what I need. Also appreciate the extra touches of coffee and breakfast items. Charlie is a sweetie and always provides a warm welcome as well.

We had an amazing stay! The place was even better in person, clean, cozy, and perfectly located near the lake. We experienced exactly what we were looking for, peace and relaxation. Rad even offered a fishing net for my daughter to use during our fishing time. She was very accommodating and quick to respond. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

Absolutely outstanding stay! Darlene was truly wonderful and made our visit to Tobermory thoroughly enjoyable. She makes an incredible breakfast which we loved and her attention to detail is amazing! The rooms are spotless with beautiful little details, everything you could need and she is fantastic at providing many local recommendations to ensure her guests have the best time. I could not recommend a stay at Darlene’s more! We will definitely be returning 🙌🏼

I went to this True B&B because the reviews were so very positive. I expected a lovely charming home and a great sleep and a wonderful breakfast. I expected a lovely host, and to feel welcome and at home. Even my high expectations were surpassed. Read the reviews to understand what a gem this is. Excellent value. Don’t expect to be hungry for lunch if Theresa feeds you breakfast unless you eat before 7:00 am!!!

We had an amazing stay at Katarina and John’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was spotless and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast bar, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings so much more enjoyable. Katarina was an exceptional host, always responsive and ensuring I had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. My wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time and the place was great. We felt at home and were very comfortable. Great place to stay if you want a quiet time.

Our stay at The Treehouse was phenominal. Our host was amazing and very welcoming. The location is great in the quiet village of Paris. The accomodations are top notch, increadibly clean, and very well kept. There is a deck in the backyard where you can watch lazilly watch the river down below....perfect!

We loved our stay!! The house is absolutely pristine and decorated beautifully. So nice to have the downtown so close.

Overall, the whole trip itself was wonderful and very worth it. The place itself was comfortable and gorgeous, along with having a game room, so it was entertaining! Not to mention the sauna; a very therapeutic experience you must try at least once. Irene, herself was a fantastic host; she was incredibly friendly and kind, her chats were lively, and her breakfasts in the morning was absolutely delicious! Also, her two dogs, Gracie and Luna were so adorable and sweet to play with! And her bird was also hilarious and a delight, especially when you get to hear him talk! :) I would love to come here again when I'm able to!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful b'n'b! From booking to the last day, Stu and his partner were so lovely, quick to respond, provided tons of local recommendations and hospitality was amazing! Everything is true to the pictures and the place is STUNNING. The room was great with AC unit & ceiling fan, lovely common areas, & a beautiful deck & garden with views out over the lake. We used the kayaks, peddle boat and paddleboard, we didnt need the bikes. Lounged dock-side & basically chilled the entire weekend which coming from DT Toronto was what the soul needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - eggs, peameal bacon, croissants, fruit & yoghurt, juices and Tea, Starbucks coffee pods. We used the food delivery service Stu told us about, and Uber is subsidized by the city. Super easy & cheap to get to without a car & we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood/beaches. Bring some wine, watch the sunset and sunrise, and play on the lake. Honestly, we will 100% be back!

Renee and Toni have been endlessly kind, responsive and helpful. The house is lovely and the room spacious. There is lots of parking and space in the house.
