Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Keowee

This is our second stay at the Clemson Farmhouse! We have two teenagers checking out Clemson University and it is a superb location for our tours. There is just enough room to spread out for our family of 4. Allye keeps the Airbnb spotless. I would never guess dogs are allowed (which we don't have). The kitchen is well stocked for cooking or gathering to eat. Wi-Fi is readily available without any issues. After long days of walking all over campus, it's nice to come back to a superior night's rest on the mattress in the master bed. Allye responds quickly with any questions and sent us information in advance. We would gladly pick this Airbnb every time we visit, if it is available.

I’m thrilled we found Aunt Helen’s place in Walhalla, SC. Home is perfect for a long weekend with friends and family. You feel at home when you walk in and it’s a very comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing enjoying the perfect weather. Did some walking around Walhalla shopping and eating in local restaurants. Great place to visit we’ll be back. We’ll be back the host are wonderful!!

Very cozy, clean, and cute! Loved the green shutters and welcome sign, the avocado green kitchen, and the comfy bed. We really enjoyed staying here and can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend!!

This is a great place for visiting Clemson University or even just a peaceful retreat for anyone in the area. The house easily accommodates a lot of people with plenty of public, private and outdoor space. It was clean, updated and very cozy on a chilly weekend. April and Sean were very responsive and accommodating. We had a great birthday dinner for my son at Calhoun Corners.

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. This Airbnb is very lovely, the interior is so cozy and decorated with love. The house has everything you need and you will feel right at home. The little dog station with small treats was so thoughtful. Even though I didn’t bring any kids, it is super kid friendly, they have a high chair and lots of games for kids to play. I’ve been visiting airbnbs for many years and this is probably amongst my top 2! Highly recommend!

everything was as described and clean. the fenced in yard was bigger then It looked in the pictures but the gate was a little short for bigger dogs. Everett was very friendly and easy going. would definitely recommend staying here.

Great accommodations! Close to Clemson campus. Owners had great communication. Will be looking to stay here again for my next trip back to Clemson.

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

The lake house is beautiful. Very private and peaceful. The house looks even better than the photos. Our children loved the pool. We are already planning to return some time this summer. Thanks Ellen for being a great host.

Mary Jo and Lina’s place was perfect for our family! It had so many kid friendly accommodations and was well kept and just a short walk to shops and restaurants! We loved our stay!

We rented the spacer for a wedding rehearsal dinner and bridesmaids stay. It was a beautiful older home that had such a warm feel. The setting was just perfect!

Beautiful new home. Very reasonable when traveling with my family of 4 couples. This is our second stay here and won’t be our last. Our elderly parents live in Toccoa so we will be visiting often. Any questions I’ve had they have responded super fast…sometimes immediately.

Brandon is a phenomenal host! Renfrow's retreat is extremely easy to get to, within walking distance of literally everything in downtown Clemson. The apartment was meticulously clean, and everything in it's place as it should be. I would give this a five-star rating to anyone who wants to stay at Renfrow's retreat. Again Brandon is a phenomenal host! Brandon even took into account that our son was graduating from the Clemson Life program on Saturday April 26th. He went out of his way to make our stay special and even had a surprise for our son. My immediate thought was this is a man of total integrity and compassion. If you need a place to stay in Clemson please, please make this a top priority place to stay.

Linda is a wonderful host and this home is absolutely beautiful! As attractive as the photos are we were even more impressed upon entry. This place is updated everywhere with quality and taste and it is very spacious. So many great spots to sit and enjoy a coffee a book plus a great walking trail around the lake. Only wish our stay was longer so we will be back for a week next time!

Host was very good at providing information to us prior to check in. Place was clean and accommodating. Very convenient for events near Green Pond landing. The covered boat storage is an amazing plus for fisherman!

Host was great to work with and always quick to respond. Beds/linens/bathrooms were very comfortable and clean.

Amanda and her husband maintained a really good property here it was clean well laid out well lit everything was functioning with a few problems we had as far as drainage of the drain. She was already working on. She was flexible as far as my family coming to town to visit with a sick relative for the holidaysoverall, just a great visit highly recommend Amanda and her family.

The location was great, but not walkable to downtown as its off a very curvy road with no shoulder to walk on. The building is dated and could use updating. There is no central AC, so I wouldn't be renting this in the summer. For some reason, we were told the cleaners only clean towels/linens and surfaces, so that was concerning about the level of sanitation there may be. When we arrived we noted some trash (beer cans, dead bugs, hair, cobwebs on all walls, and a metal jimmy hook near the firepit (my child grabbed this to show me). Kitchen also had a weird smell the whole time. I did not like the on the counter dishwasher - I was never able to figure out how to use it so I ended up having to wash all the dishes by hand, which is never ideal on vacation. Master bedroom bed and fridge could be replaced. The host was very friendly and responsive. Overall, not a bad property or location, but is in need of updating. 5 stars overall left to not hurt the owner rating.

Beautiful house and view! Our family enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and screened porch and watching the sunset behind the mountains. We spent most days hiking in the surrounding areas. We loved finding so many waterfalls! The property is more remote than we realized which made it lovely and peaceful. We did lose power once because of a tree down so if I had to do over again I would have better prepared with some more water and non perishable supplies due to the distance from town. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

I can't say enough about how special this home is. It is just what you want a mountain house to be, warm and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and some extras such as beautiful china that was available to use. We enjoyed the wrap around porch so much. It is the perfect spot for relaxing, reading or napping! This is a great find in a perfect location close to town. I want to visit again thanks to Laura for making the process so easy.

Great place to stay if you want to get away. Quiet and peaceful. During the day listen to the birds and river flowing while sitting on the front porch reading a good book. At night watch the fire flies dace around the tress. Loved spending time in my hammock watching the river and the day drifting away. Had a great time unwinding.Will definitely repeat.

We couldn’t have had a better host than Nicholas. We had first scheduled our stay for a different weekend, but Hurricane Helene caused us to have to cancel. Nicholas was indeed proactive as he was watching the weather forecast along with us & completely understood our circumstances. As he had been so gracious we were happy to book this rental again for the redo of our reason for being in Highlands. Once again Nicholas was readily available in meeting all of our needs. The house was spacious, cozy & comfortable. And the drive into town was a brief straight shot. Thanks Nicholas! It was great!
