Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Murray

Home was exactly as described, Close to Fort Jackson which was our objective. Very peaceful, clean and well stocked. Felt very welcomed by the host.

We were in SC for my daughter’s graduation. Everything we needed was close by…grocery store, package store,restaurants, and the University. We were contacted twice during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Would recommend this house to others looking to stay near the University of SC.

We enjoyed the house. The location was definitely in the country so the corner store wasn't exactly on the corner but it was only 5 to 10 mins away. The peace and quiet was great! It took a min to drive into town but there were several shopping centers and food places within 15 mins drive! The owners are great people! Can't wait to go again!

Nice location , great amenities and very spacious. The host was super friendly and accommodating. We came in for my daughter’s graduation and he was able to help us with last minute requests. Check in was easy and the directions given were easy to follow

Wonderful house in a nice neighborhood. Anything you need is less than a 10 minute drive. Miss Susan was very responsive and tended to any questions we had during our stay. The house is well kept and super clean. My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much, in the event that we travel here again this bnb is definitely at the top of our list.

We stayed her for about 6 weeks as a transition space as our family moved to Lexington from Los Angeles. This was a very comfortable spot to stay for our family, and the hosts were kind, helpful, and responsive!

Great place to stay! Very spacious and clean! We were visiting for my brothers family day and graduation @ Fort Jackson! Location was about 10min away from base. The only thing I can complain about was the shower linen was dirty, but other than that 10/10!

Let me start by saying this is my FIRST AirBNB experience. I went down to check out a few homes for sale and needed a place close by. My original hotel was not ok and I reached out to Kamilah for a possible check in the same day. She was so friendly, kind, and responsive! We ended up booking right away (me, my kids, and our dog). It was a bit confusing for me checking in because I never had to use a keypad before, but the host was quick to respond and explained it to me. After that, we realized how amazing this place was! It’s a wonderful location. Anything you need is within a block. Food, gas, grocery, etc. There’s a huge shopping plaza a few minutes away. I needed access to the highways quite a bit, and this place was minutes from the highways, too. It was very kid and dog friendly! Residents were very kind, too. Amenities, like the pool and playground, were a huge hit with my family! We absolutely LOVED our stay! We thank Kamilah so much for the last minute booking! It was amazing!

Joel and Giovi were exceptional hosts! Both very helpful and kind! During my stay I even learned to drive stick, and shoot a firearm! They are both military and very disciplined and responsible regarding that and in their daily lives. The unit was perfect for my parents and pets while I was evacuating. Very high ceilings. Quality hard tile floors. Classic entertainment systems. Pool table. Swimming pool. The privacy and security with a brick wall and gate helped put my parents at ease in their first Airbnb. My father now talks about renovating our house!

The host was very responsive all hours of the day. The place was clean and well decorated in a quiet neighborhood.

This property was great and Courtney was great as well! The property was very clean, her instructions were clear, she had toiletries, plenty of extra linen and EVEN SNACKS! We had no issues during our stay! I would recommend this place to anyone in the Columbia area!

When I say beautiful and comfortable I mean just that. Home away from home and I mean that. I travel for work so feeling at home is big to me. Stephanie was great and I would love to stay at her homes in every state if I could. Thanks for the stay and for being a great host.

I have stayed here multiple times. It is a great place and one of my first choices when I travel to Columbia.

Wonderful two-bedroom apartment! Nicole was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The space was just like the photos—clean, cozy, and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was that the elevator stopped working during our stay, so we had to carry our heavy luggage up & down the stairs, which was unexpected. Aside from that, I’d definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect place for my family. The bathroom was a little small but it was very clean and served its purpose. I liked the fact that there were plenty of supplies on hand and coffee!!!! We enjoyed our stay and would book again if we return to the area. It was so easy getting back and forth to the base where our son was stationed. I felt safe there also. Would not recommend for elderly though because of the uneven stepping stones. I was wearing a boot cast and it was tricky keeping my balance. The front porch was so nice. I sat there and relaxed in one of the rocking chairs after a long tiring day.

Patricia was incredibly kind and accommodating to my needs. She even offered to watch my dog while I attended a ceremony. The home is surrounded by tall, beautiful trees, making it a peaceful place to walk and relax.

Everything was great! Very clean and close to a good coffee shop and grocery store. Host was proactive and helpful.

I personally was not able to attend my reservation due to other travel issues that prevented me from attending. I notified Rob that we would not make it (we were just spending one night to attend a wedding in the area), but that the other couple who were staying with us would still be there. Rob accommodated them, even without an AirB&B profile, so that was great.

Great spot for a short stay in Columbia. Private fenced in yard was perfect for our pup to run around for a bit. On a caldesac, very safe & private. Stayed here while in town for a friends wedding, the hot water was great in the shower which can be an issue for some RV stays (I’ve stayed in a few now) I am also a 6’5 240lb man so if you’re my size, just prepared & aware that you’re in an RV! I’ll say it again, it’s an R. V. It’s going to be small & the shower might be too small (I’m huge so it was LoL) outside of that couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Felt like it was my own property, absolutely stay here, just be prepared if you’re a large man like me :)

The house and surroundings were exactly like the pictures. Our Host Kalie was fantastic and she was very quick to return phone calls and messages. I would definitely go through her the next we visit Lake Murray which I hope is soon😊. The view was spectacular as were the sun sets. It was a very relaxing visit. Thanks Katie Richard and Wanda.

What a very enjoyable stay. We needed a place last minute to evacuate our home in FL for a hurricane. Janice and Nathan responded immediately and had the place ready for us when we arrived. It was perfect for what we needed and our two dogs loved it with the fenced in yard. If you have pets and want to get away….this is the spot!!! Place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the back porch is amazing and when you walk down to the water it takes all your stresses away. We will certainly be back!
