Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

Ursa Minor Waterfall Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax listening to the creek and waterfall. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Clayton. The charming city has shops, coffee, restaurants, a brewery and Wander North Georgia. Explore a bit farther out to Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock Mountain, Lake Burton and Tiger. Cabin has 1 bedroom and a loft with more beds. Full kitchen and laundry. Zen Mountain Escape: Rivers, Wineries & Solitude

Rustic beauty with modern touches all within a stones throw of two wineries. The first thing you notice here is the incredible stillness as you take in the dramatic view of clouds scraping the top of the Glassy Mountain 1200' above. Enjoy a morning espresso on the yoga platform in the trees 40' feet above the creek and then cool off after a hike/bike/paddle in the outdoor shower. Or let the summer breeze lull you into a nap on the sleeping porch sipping local wines. That's my favorite.

Come and enjoy nature with 100+ acres to roam. Architect James Fox designed this cantilevered cliffside home overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.
