Monthly Rentals in Lamboing

We loved this place so much! Beautiful house (perfect size for 2 people) and garden. The surrounding area is just wonderful! It gets very quiet at times and very dark at night, it took me personally 1-2 days to adjust. Getting there was a bit difficult since we had to rely on public transport. We took the funicular up to Macolin and then used a taxi service based in Biel to take us to the house (80 CHF). From Macolin we think it is most advisable to take the road / path called "Prés de Macolin Derrière". If you were to walk it would probably take you 1h+. The hosts were very responsive which was greatly appreciated.

My wife and I’s stay here was wonderful. Paul and Therese greeted us upon arriving and showed us around the air bnb— how to heat the wood burner for heating, all of the amenities etc. The mini fridge was stocked with butter, jam, bread, eggs, and some other essentials. If you’re expecting to cook meals while here, obviously go to the grocery store before hand, but most essentials were there for our use! The views were stunning; we took a beautiful walk. On our second night, Paul and Therese’s invited us in to share dinner with them! They were so hospitable! We didn’t mind this, but one thing to keep in mind, is the bathroom, kitchen sink and microwave are a short walk away, attached to Paul and Therese’s home! 10/10 would recommend this stay if you’re looking for a peaceful and secluded stay, tucked away in the mountain side.
