Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy the quiet of the countryside but still only 15 minutes from Newcastle city centre. Some lovely local country pubs within walking distance. Dog friendly also with some great walks just across the road. Just off the A1 angel of the north exit so easily accessible as a stop off for a couple of days if you’re travelling somewhere else and want to break up your journey. Two bedroom property with a large gated driveway for secure parking and outdoor seating area. The property is located on the main bus route between Newcastle (3 miles) and Durham (12 miles) with buses running every 20 minutes and once an hour after midnight. We are located 15 minutes walk from the Angel of the North and next door to a pub which is open for food daily. The local high street is a 15 minute walk with a huge selection of pubs, bars and restaurants.

Located just half a mile away from the A1, it is within easy reach of vibrant Newcastle, beautiful Durham and the Metro Centre. There are some lovely local walks and pubs to visit, but if you wanted to venture further, the coast and gorgeous Northumberland are also within easy reach. Private flat, public outdoor space. This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.
