Great place to stay in the Lake District. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and the house was immaculately clean.

The best Airbnb we’ve stayed at! Had everything you could ever need in the most peaceful location. The kitchen especially is beautiful and was so well equipped. Location wise, just where we needed to be. Sinead was super helpful and friendly for our entire stay, always on hand to help with anything. Definitely recommend and desperately wanting to go back soon! Thanks for everything ❤️

Alexander Barn was the perfect place to stay to visit the North Lake District's gem's. Ennerdale was less than 10 minutes by car, Loweswater 15 minutes. The view from the front room and bedroom was dreamy. The rooms and linen were clean and the later of good quality and having walls on hand and a few things like milk eggs and oil (as well as tea, coffee and sugar) we're very handy as there is no shop or pub in they village.

My friend and I stayed for two nights, and it truly couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views right outside the doorstep. The home itself had a warm, cozy vibe, a beautifully homely interior, and a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Hazel and Mike were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always available to answer any questions, and Hazel even kindly offered us a lift into the local town. I’ll be recommending this gem to everyone I know, and we’re already planning our next visit!
