If you're looking for a day out, there are some beautiful places to visit in the local area: – Tiilikkajärvi National Park (approx. 30 mins): trails of various lengths through the forest and along the water. – Älänne: A peaceful area with marshes, ridges and lake basins. – Two-person tour: A woodland trail that ends at a viewpoint overlooking the lake. – Pisavuori: A short but steep climb to the viewing tower. Near the house, there are forest paths for peaceful walks – on your own, with your dog, or to clear your mind. You will find the instructions in the cottage folder.

100-year-old log cabin

A 100-year-old rebuilt log sauna cabin in the tranquility of the countryside. A good night's sleep is guaranteed by a futon mattress and the opportunity to enjoy the sauna in the warmth of the wood stove while admiring the lake from the landscape window, in the summer you swim in the clean-watered lake, in the winter you jump into a refreshing ice hole. You wash with water heated with a traditional bucket. The needs are done in the outdoor toilet. There is no rush here, but the rest of the world is forgotten. Still, only a half-hour drive from the city's services.

Ranta-Mäntylä

Welcome to relax in the embrace of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful lake full of fish (Kallavesi), in the midst of nature, in the courtyard of our home, only a 25-minute drive from the towns of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cottage comfortably accommodates two people. In the summer, the sleeping shed has sleeping places for two. Guests have access to a barbecue, a paddle board and a rowing boat. There is an additional charge for using the hot tub. Please book the hot tub in advance.

The interior surfaces of the house are basically clean, and a comfortable and relaxing place to sleep is provided. The stable has a small indoor shower and a toilet. There is a small lakeside sauna nearby. Please note that the slope to the beach is quite steep.

Welcome to Huvikumpu! Here you will spend a relaxing holiday with your loved ones, family or friends. The cottage is located 38 km from the center of Kuopio, in a quiet location. The cottage has a kitchenette with an alcove, a bedroom, an indoor toilet, a shower, a dressing room and a sauna. In addition, a glazed terrace with infrared heaters and a hot tub in the yard (for an additional fee of 100 euros). Air heat pump and municipal water. Large lawn yard. The beach is sloping and partly sandy. Rowboat and 2 SUP boards for tenants!

Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddleboard and a rowing boat, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10€/person, final cleaning 80€ extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

Bright and cosy 52 m² two-room apartment in a good location. Within walking distance of the city centre (1 km) and the train station (600 m). Easy self-check-in from 3 pm; the key can be found in the key box in front of the house. The price includes final cleaning, bed linen and towels, as well as coffee/tea. There is a covered parking space for drivers. A 160 cm double bed, already made, awaits you in the bedroom. There is also a 140 cm sofa bed with a rollaway mattress. The cottage has a living room, attic, kitchen, fridge/freezer, microwave, cooking and dining utensils. On the deck, food group, gas grill, and hot plate. An additional room with a separate entrance to the lakeside sauna. A dock with a fire and grilling spot, as well as a food group. Water with pumps for terraces, food in canisters ready. Good, nicely deepening, sunny weak shore.

Löytyy myös inventteri Pieni mökki kahdelle ihmiselle kirkasvetisen ja kalaisan Juojärven lahden pohjukassa omassa rauhassaan. Laiturilta pääsee uimaan ja ranta syvenee nopeasti. Tupakointi mökin sisätiloissa on kielletty. Juojärvessä ei ole sinilevää. Järvessä puhdas vesi uida.

Kesäranta

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place, where family pets are also welcome. The yard is fenced around the lake. Kesäranna has a separate sauna building with a wood-burning stove, a sauna room and a burning toilet. From the beginning of May to the beginning of autumn, a hot tub/jacuzzi with its own sauna is available for €150.
