Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Our apartment is located in Valencia de Alcántara (Cáceres-Extremadura), exactly in the hamlet of San Pedro, 8Km from Portugal. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and free WIFI.   Ideal place to visit: Valencia de Alcántara, Natural Park of the Tajo Internacional and the region of the Alentejo in Portugal (Marvao and Castelo de Vide).

Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

This small, finely furnished guest house was lovingly rebuilt from the old bakery into a completely independent small house. It has a full kitchen (with small dishwasher), bathroom with shower, living room with sofa bed (2 people), bedroom and terrace, which is accessible from both rooms. Simply enjoy the fantastic view and relax with a good glass of red wine.

My place is close to Portalegre, Marvão and Castelo de Vide. You'll love it because it's quiet, ideal for resting, and strolling through the Serra. Discover the Apartadura Dam and enjoy the silence At night, contemplate the starry sky as it is not seen in the city and try to identify the constellations. The croaking of the frogs keeps you company.
