Our 150-year-old country house is located on the banks of the Saale surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Schiefergebirge. The apartment is completely renovated and offers space for a relaxing break at any time of the year. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for hiking or cycling and in summer the Hohenwarte reservoir invites you to swim. Various shopping facilities are in the village – including Supermarket, bakery and pharmacy. The train station is 1.5 km from the house.

"Benno the Wagon" - a tiny house on the edge of the forest

"Benno the Car" was originally an old shooting stand, which we converted into a tiny house with a lot of passion and love for detail. In it you can now stay in the middle of nature and still feel at home. On about 16 square meters you have everything you really need to live. Benno stands near a detached cottage outside Kleintettau in the Franconian Forest. On a meadow on the edge of the forest, he says good night to the fox and rabbit and is happy about company!

Vacation home in the Thuringian Forest

The vacation apartment is located in the center of Fehrenbach and is on the 2nd floor of a house built in 1925. The living room offers a comfortable couch as well as a 55-inch OLED TV with Netflix and MagentaTV. In the bedroom you will find a 1.6 x 2 m bed and from the kitchen you have a beautiful view of the place. A third person can be accommodated on the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Early check-in and late check-out by arrangement.

The white Zar Ferdinand suite – a dream of a castle

You will sleep in a castle dating from 1478 – in an opulent bed that was once built for Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria. A divan can also serve as a third bed. The heating is entirely infrared, clean and requires no effort on your part. A kitchenette in the cosy living room, a shower and toilet in separate rooms, and the wonderful view of the castle courtyard with its magnificent linden tree make this suite the perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. You have a small house in the old town of Sonneberg. Ideal for hiking. Free parking on the street. Bus stop and shopping nearby. The small bathroom was modernised in January 2026. Washing machine is available. There is a bedroom with 2 beds. A large double bed and one single bed. A snoring room, also often used as a teen room, can be set up on request. The room has a single bed.
