😊 We had a refreshing weekend at the little cottage in La Roche. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The garden overlooks a meadow where animals discreetly greet newcomers — a real moment of sweetness and connection with nature. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with the essentials, this is the place. The cottage is tastefully arranged, down to the last detail, and the equipment is perfect, including an outdoor BBQ. The small producers in the area are welcoming and allow you to discover the local flavors. A big thank you to Stéphanie for his warm welcome and availability. We will come back without hesitation! By far the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! (And we’ve stayed at many wonderful ones.) It’s beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and lots of love. It’s spotlessly clean and smells lovely. We felt at home immediately. You can really tell that the hosts have put a lot of thought into everything and truly empathize with their guests. They’ve thought of absolutely everything. Nothing is missing. They are also extremely friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. We spent the entire month of April at Norbert and Sabine’s Airbnb. The location is beautiful and idyllic. Within just a few minutes, you can be in the forest with many hiking trails, or you can drive to one of the many nearby attractions. One of our favorite places was the tea salon in Puy L'Évêque. From its terrace, you can watch swallows flying over the rooftops of the town. There are also plenty of castles, fortresses, caves, and picturesque villages to explore. We highly recommend a trip to this Airbnb!

We have had a wonderful time in the gite! The swimming pool is huge and has a beautiful area to sit and relax. There is everything you could possibly want and it is clean and well maintained. The host, Tracy, who speaks fluent French and English, is lovely and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The nearest town with shops and restaurants is Villefranche du Perigord which is beautiful and welcoming. There are lots of walks nearby which was great for us with our dog. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here, in the middle of the countryside with its peace and tranquility.
