Delightful old farmhouse and spacious garden

The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

La Detourbe Holidays

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The large living room comprising of lounge, kitchen and dinning areas with access to the patio for outdoor dining. On the ground floor, down a step there is also a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Upstairs off a large landing there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large family room with a double bed and bunk beds with an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have views of the large gardens and countryside beyond.

Welcome to Gite Des Roses, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. Halfway between Mont St Michel and the Loire Valley castles! On a hiking trail, you will be comfortably housed in the quiet of the countryside and in complete independence. You will have at your disposal a nice living room with 1 sofa and 1 table, 2 bedrooms as well as a bathroom. You will have a private terrace facing the pastures. Alone, as a couple, with your children or a couple of friends, we will be happy to welcome you and offer you a breakfast with our homemade products.

Spacious house ideally located overlooking the largest lake in Normandy and a stone's throw from Normandy Switzerland and its GR, voted the favorite of the French in 2022. Come with family, friends, this 100 m² house (2000 m² of land) will be the place to meet. Outside: Private Parking, Pétanque Court, Charcoal Barbecue, Terrace.
