The home is as described and I can’t say a single thing bad about our stay. The driveway is STEEEP as she says, do not underestimate her words 😂 it was not an issue though. The house is beautiful, clean, great location with the most perfect upper Michigan views. I’d come back and I would 100% recommend.

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

Was a very beautiful and peaceful place in the woods. The hot tub was super clean, very cozy fireplace area, and the whole set up was just gorgeous. We had a really great experience! We also loved how they are stocked with all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and everything you would need. The host was very helpful and responded fast.

John & Kelly are not your typical hosts, they go above and beyond! By far the most magnificent hosts in my experience with AirBnB! Their communication is excellent and the home was completely clean and pristine. They also had a very detailed binder with not only everything you need to know about the house, but everything you should know about the location as well! They poured in their time to find great recommendations and ideas so that their guests can have the best possible experience! The quality of everything inside their home is definitely worth the price of the stay. John & Kelly and their home check all the boxes in what one is looking for in a great experience!

The log cabin was fabulous. It was perfectly appointed and, even though not quite warm enough outside just yet, Bar Lake made all stress subside.

Cabin was perfect. Clean & comfortable. Great location. Road orv trails. Really enjoyed the fire pit. Cabin is close to the road, but don’t be concerned about that. We only saw a handful of vehicles pass all weekend. No neighbors within sight. Kids enjoyed running and playing in the yard. I would highly recommend

Beautiful cabin! Lots of hiking around the area that was great for our dogs. Everything is under a 10 minute drive which was awesome. We got lucky with amazing weather during our stay so we were able utilize the outdoor furniture and space! The cabin itself was super tidy and clean and loved the look of it all. The hosts left us a nice bottle of wine and delicious cookies! Overall, a great weekend getaway!

We loved our stay at Lani's place! The location was perfect and the place had everything we needed. I also really loved the bed (I wasn't too hot) and usually have a hard time with beds at other Airbnbs I've stayed in. Also, while the place didn't have wifi we still had great service on our phones (which have Verizon service). If we come back to the area, we'd LOVE to stay here again.

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! We had a great time staying here for our ATV trip! Location was great! Host was great at responding to any question I had.

This was a fantastic stay. Everything was clean, well equipped, and so comfortable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful as well! Danielle was an amazing host, extremely friendly and very accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and will definitely be back!

Krista's Cabin #5 (and the whole place in general) is really nice! It's a beautiful property that is perfect to getaway. The cabins are perfectly in-between the right amount of outdoors and cabin in the woods feeling while still being a bit nicer. It's the perfect mix as many cabins we found were too renovated and too modern. We wanted to feel like we were in a cabin and that's exactly what we felt like! The grounds are cool and entertaining, the lake front is nice, the lodge is always neat to have a "community center" like that. It was the perfect cozy getaway that we wanted for our weekend. It was so comfortable and relaxing. If you live anywhere around people, get out here to this property and take a break!

Such an adorable cabin. Everything is there that you'd need and more. Cozy, warm and inviting. We were in a predicament, and Erin came to our rescue. We couldn't have been happier.

This cabin was just as described . It was very secluded and peaceful. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The cabin was cozy and had all the amenities we may have needed to use per the host. Excellent get away spot and close to Cadillac if you need to get out and about. Our host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question . Would definitely recommend this cozy cabin getaway and I would love to stay again sometime.

Perfect location for a fall weekend getaway! Cabin was cozy and clean. Outdoor space was great and having firewood for guests to use was a bonus! Will consider staying again, perhaps in another cabin with friends and/or for skiing!
