"De Gulle pracht" Holiday home, Friesland

Our cozy vacation cottage, originally was an old stable that we (Caroline and Jan) converted together, with lots of love and respect for the old details and materials, into this "Gulle Pracht". Through a private driveway with parking, you reach the terrace with the spacious garden, a lawn with surrounding tall trees, where you can enjoy. Through the two French doors, you step into the bright and cozy living room with the white old beams and a fully equipped open kitchen. There is wireless internet available, TV and DVD. Because of the ceiling in the living room that has been removed, beautiful light falls in from the skylights and you have a view of the roof structure with the old round hoods. The beds are located on top of the two lofts. The comfortable double bed is accessed by an open staircase. The other loft, where a third or fourth bed can possibly be made, is only accessible by flexible guests via a ladder. It is not suitable for small children because of the danger of falling, but older children find it exciting to sleep there. Please note, the two lofts share the same large open space. Under the old beams, you can sleep peacefully, where only the sound of rustling trees, whistling birds or your deliciously snoring bedmate will be heard. The room is heated by central heating, but also only the wood-fired stove can heat the cottage comfortably. You will be provided with enough wood from us to start a cozy fire. Through an old stable door in the living room, you come to the bathroom with beamed ceiling and underfloor heating. The bathroom has a good shower, double sink and toilet. With its inlaid mosaics and all kinds of funny and old details, this space is also a feast for the eyes. There are two bicycles available for nice trips in the wider area (Harlingen, Franeker Bolsward). We may want to drop you off in Harlingen for a crossing to Terschelling. You can leave the car in our yard for a while. We, ourselves, live in the farmhouse which is in the same yard. We are available for help, information and advice for fun trips in our beautiful Friesland. Your cottage and our farmhouse are separated by our garden and the big old barn (with pool table), so we both have our own space and privacy. Kimswerd, located on the eleven city route is a small, quiet and beautiful village where our Frisian hero "de Grutte Pier" was born and lived. He still watches over us, in petrified form, at the beginning of our little street, next to the centuries-old Church, which is very much worth visiting as well. You can do your shopping in Harlingen, the supermarket is a fifteen minute bike ride away. The old port of Harlingen is 10 km from our cottage. Kimswerd is located just across the Afsluitdijk. From there, follow the signs N31 Harlingen/Leeuwarden/Zurich and take the first exit at Kimswerd, 1st right at the traffic circle, 1st right again at the next traffic circle, straight ahead at the intersection, across the bridge and immediately take the first left (Jan Timmerstraat). At the beginning of this street, next to the church, stands the statue of the Grutte Pier. We live in the farmhouse behind the church, Jan Timmerstraat 6, first wide gravel path on the right. - For small children, sleeping on the loft without a fence is not advisable because of the danger of falling. It's just fun for big kids, the loft is accessible by a ladder. Please note, it is 1 large open space upstairs with no privacy.

Cozy vacation cottage in Woudsend

A lovely cozy (full privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden (butterfly garden) of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the windmill, 't Lam. Come here to relax with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the tits, blackbirds and sparrows (sometimes Sunday from the church bells). Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Probably the best IJsselmeer view in Friesland!

Unique views from your apartment and terraces. The large terraces on three sides of the house are all yours, so you can always find a space in the sun or in the shade. The west side has an amazing view of the IJsselmeer, the other sides have excellent views too. Two small beaches at walking distance. Free Wifi. Delfstrahuizen Studio with unique water view

We would like to welcome you to our sustainable and smoke-free bed & breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transportation (5 minutes' walk). There is also a sandy beach on the Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

Studio with unique views over the IJsselmeer

In the old center of Hindeloopen, there is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king-size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking lot at the harbor. You can store your bicycles in the garden that belongs to the guest house.

In watersportdorp Terherne aan het Sneekermeer. Het Kameleon avonturen park, cafe, restaurants en de mooiste kerk/trouwlocatie van Friesland om de hoek. U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

Spend the night in a historic building in the middle of the cozy restaurants and shops near the old Lemster harbour. In the upper floor of the beautiful "Andringa State" you will find a modern studio and 2 spacious bedrooms. The front bedroom offers views over the harbour. The rear bedroom and studio offer access to the spacious roof terrace. Booking for 2 people is based on use of 1 bedroom and studio. Booking for 3 or 4 people is based on use of both bedrooms and studio.

Enjoy a comfortable cottage on fishing water. Beautiful views over tulip fields and playing hares. Enjoy the tranquility of the garden with countless birds, go to Urk or Lemmer for coziness or try to catch a fish from your own jetty. Anything is possible, nothing is required. The cottage is cozily furnished for four people and equipped with every comfort. With two terraces, there is always a sunny or shady spot and a detached shed with a charging point for bicycles.

The apartment is located in a very idyllic, quiet place in the beautiful Frisian landscape near the IJsselmeer. Originally, the loft was a cooking studio, where delicious dishes were cooked. The loft is spacious and has been completely converted since June 2020. It offers a lot of privacy, tranquility, a private terrace (with rural views) and free parking. In the beautiful surroundings, close to Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can enjoy hiking, biking and boating.

The apartment is in the middle of Langweer's bustling village street on the first floor above our design studio. It has a spacious living room with a luxurious kitchen (and island), two fine bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The entire apartment is decorated with tasteful furniture adjoining our design style. Many nice sights are steps away: the harbor is around the corner, nice restaurants, beautiful villages, beautiful nature, cities, shops and culture.
