Under the chestnut tree is our romantic detached cottage in the picturesque Schellinkhout. Fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, TV and 2 pers. bed with lovely mattress. In 10 steps you are on the sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and (kite)surfing. Walk along the bird bread area, bike in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC port towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 min. from Amsterdam. Cozy restaurant 100m 100m away. Breakfast will be arranged on 1st day!

We are happy to welcome you in our sustainable and non-smoking bed & breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is completely furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transport (5 minutes walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer, a 5-minute walk away.
