Bungalow holiday rentals in Lewes District

It is a lovely bungalow, right on the beach. It has lovely furnishings & lots of nice finishing touches. It has everything you would want. The beds are very comfortable & it is near all the amenities you would need for a mini break. We all had a lovely time.

Pebble Lodge is a delight for a stay of any duration. Clean, airy, yet cosy and comfortable. It’s fully equipped with everything you need including a sunny back garden - that basks in sun all day and evening! It’s situated in a brilliant location, close to the beach and all the amenities in the lovely village of Ferring. And Helen, is absolutely fabulous to deal with. Communication is swift, she’s accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. We had a fantastic couple of months stay. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Pebble Lodge to any guests.

The crab shack is a lovely place to stay, 50 yards from the beach, peaceful and beautifully presented inside. Everything you need, great bathroom, home comforts and a very nice welcome pack, highly recommended.

A perfect location! My grandchildren ( 4 and 1) enjoyed the easily accessible beach, but probable the enclosed lawned garden even more! We had an initial problem with the dishwasher not working, but Alex had it resolved pretty quickly considering it was a weekend. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities. The boxes of toys and books for the children were a great source of delight. We were visiting family in the area, and will definitely be booking this property again!

Jacquie and Alan were the friendly hosts. Studio Annie was perfect for us. Just in the right location, absolutley spotless, bright and airy. The addition of a small raised decking overlooking garden was lovely especially at night whilst I read or for breakfast in the morning. The little extra touches like milk, tea coffee butter and jam were a surprise. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will hopefully stay in The Studio again.

A great place to stay and such an amazing host. Some really amazing touches around the house which was very much appreciated. A perfect place to tour the South Downs and relax.

We had a lovely stay at Simon and Sharon's place. It was a well equipped and bright bungalow and wonderfully situated, right on the beach. We were very lucky with the weather although early October, and had some good walks along the beach to Pevensey Bay. A delightful mini break. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou 🙏🏼

A very peaceful location, we loved that the beach was just a minute walk down the road and that our dog was welcome. The garden was the best feature for us as a family. As well as the spacious rooms in the house. Everything we needed in the kitchen for self catering. The mattresses were harder than we were used to, but wonderfully clean smelling linen and very clean overall. Thank you for a very peaceful few days break.

Isobel is an amazing host, she went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Communication was seamless! Isobel was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The property was beautiful, totally surpassed our expectations. Very modern and aesthetically pleasing, pictures do not do it enough justice; very spacious & appliance were very easy to use. The private entrance was a plus, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. Isobel was respectful of our privacy but always available when needed. Cannot wait to return in the summer! Thank you very much 🙂

Paul and Stephen were the most caring and thoughtful hosts imaginable, and their Airbnb was beyond our expectations. The decked-out kitchen, the very comfortable living room, all the handy gadgets like the air purifier, the coffee machine and the adjustable shower head, were all so amazing. There is everything you could possibly want and more. The care and pride that Paul and Stephen have towards their guests and Airbnb is clearly shown through their amazing communication and very helpful guidebooks, which they had obviously put their heart and soul into. We were really touched through our stay by how thoughtful and attentive they both were. They put all our worries at ease, and checked in on us when they saw us in passing to ensure our stay was up to our expectations. We also admired how eco-friendly the Lodge is run, with all the solar panels and other considerations that are made. Our stay has just been wonderful as our first getaway alone as a couple. Thank you for everything! :)

We had an amazing stay in this homely house. It is actually our second time staying here and we love the garden and peaceful surroundings. The house itself feels cozy and has a character of its own. We would definitely like to stay here again in the near future. Thanks

We have stayed at Katherine’s place several times and are always happy to return there. It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped and there is always a great selection of breakfast items. It’s close to the railway station and to the North Downs Way. This time there was an issue with the TV which was resolved within a few hours-we couldn’t have asked for better customer care. I look forward to when we can stay again.

This was hands down one of the best air bnbs I’ve ever stayed in. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. But more than that the hosts were so welcoming, the communications fantastic and they went above and beyond. They put so many lovely touches in with the house and everything was so well thought out. I couldn’t fault anything. The attention to detail was fantastic, couldn’t recommend enough!

Lovely property. We stayed here upon returning from a cruise in Southampton on Friday, prior to a flight back to the USA on Saturday. Paul met us at the door and provided helpful instructions related to our planned London daytrip. The house is comfortable with thoughtful furnishings. Host provided bread, milk, butter, croissants, and jam for a morning breakfast prior to our departure to Gatwick. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to explore the grounds since we returned from London late in the evening and had to leave early the next day to check in for our flight. House is very interesting with lots of history and back story. We would love to stay again and have more time to explore the local neighborhoods and talk to Paul and Jane!

What a wonderful place to stay, spotless! A stones throw from the beach. Lovely walk along the beach to a bar on the beach front. A few nice restaurants, pubs and shops around a 5/10 min walk away. The bungalow had everything we needed and more, the extras that Daniela had gifted were very much appreciated. I have never stayed in an air bnb so clean and with such a lovely host. Daniela was very friendly and very helpful, she answered all of my questions straight away. Would definitely recommend this bungalow and we would stay again! Thank you so much for making our stay so special. X

We had a lovely long weekend. It was so peaceful and a perfect base for visiting friends in the area. We would love to return here again.
