Especially in the morning when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit in the conservatory with a coffee – an unforgettable moment! Our cozy bungalow is located in the middle of the woods of the Overijssel Vechtdal. The forest house has a beautiful sauna and a big (wild) garden of more than 1000 m2 where you can rest and enjoy all the flora and fauna. From the cottage you can walk, cycle and swim for hours. There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. From your nature lodge, you can walk or cycle directly into the forest or across the heaths of this most beautiful spot. Bicycles are free and maps are available. Spot wildlife (such as red deer) and visit the many museums and attractions nearby! It is absolutely quiet: no traffic or main road. Convenient: * Check-in from 3 p.m., check-out 11 a.m. (later not possible due to cleaning). * Car is recommended (public transport is not optimal). We do everything we can to make your stay comfortable.

This makes the forest house very suitable for families who want to enjoy a comfortable stay. Due to the location, we do not rent to young people/groups of friends.

The house is on the ground floor and features a kitchen, adjoining living room with dining area and sitting area with TV, wifi available. 2 bedrooms of which 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with double sink furniture, toilet and shower. There is also a separate toilet with sink. Smoking and pets not allowed.

Forest residence

Relax and unwind in our cottage. In the large forest garden, you can see the squirrels and the birds roam around you. On the covered terrace you can have a delicious breakfast or later in the sun loungers. The kitchen is fully equipped. The large bedroom has a spacious bed with a wonderful mattress, and thanks to the fast WiFi and the desk, the large room also offers a full-fledged workplace. The little bedroom offers two extra sleeping places.

Camping De Bosrand has a bed and breakfast, similar to a luxury hotel room, a hotel chalet. It contains a sleeping area with 2 box spring beds, bathroom with shower and toilet (2 (bath)towels p.p. included), sitting area with a countertop(no hob), fridge, microwave/grill, coffee+tea facilities, TV, a covered veranda and BBQ. Private parking, additional terrace and for a fee a tent can also be added if you want to come with more than 2 people.
