Short distance to the lake, about 400 m to walk, here you will find the marked coastal path and several beautiful beaches. 25 minutes to the Zoo, 30 minutes to both Kristiansand and Arendal. In the middle of the smørøyet! 600 m to the Bible School, and a short distance to the store/Grimstad city center. Please note that there is a slightly steep staircase up to the living unit, this place is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.

The hen house

Relax with the family at Hønsehuset. Unique small cottage between Lillesand and Dyreparken with 6-7 beds! In 1965, the old chicken coop was converted into a rental cottage, hence the great name😊 The cabin is an annex, but even though the houses are close, it is both private and peaceful. There is the possibility to get a swim on a private jetty, about 90 meters to the lake. Otherwise, the cabin has a garden spot and a porch in the back. It takes 10-12 minutes to drive to the Zoo, and 7 minutes to Lillesand.

Hytten har en stor brygge på nedsiden av hytta. Isefjærfjorden har normalt høyeste badetemp i sjø/Norge (reiseradioen) Kort vei til dyreparken, 15 km. Hytta har en bratt skrent på fremsiden men med gjerde. Har parkeringsplass med hovedvei til hytta og med hytta, noe smal vei opp til hytta. Stor brygge med bord og stoler. Hytta har innlagt vann. Hytta har helt nytt toalett. Internett og TV skjem. Innebygd terrasse med skyvedør/vinduer. 2 soverom med køyesenger 2 soverom med dobbeltseng.

New timber house with a fantastic view of the entire boat rental from Homborøya in the east to Justøya in the west. Large and spacious house with high ceilings in the living room/kitchen. Here there is sun from morning to evening, and many opportunities to sit outside, or in the armchairs in front of the large windows. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the amazing views. There are no neighbors. It is a 500m walk to the sea. Possibilities to rent a rowing boat. Great hiking areas.

Beautiful calm fjord, lots of fish and crabs, short boat trip to the outer islands to feel the ocean. Nice boat trips behind the islands. Climbing connection. zipline., tubing and waterski. Bigger more stable Yamarin 15 foot with 100hp 4stroke Yamaha can be rented for 1000kr a night or a Musling 14 with 60hp yamaha 4stroke for 800kr a night.

There is a private entrance and there is parking in the street outside - Public free parking spaces. There is a short distance to the town's local shops, restaurants, grocery stores and to Lillesand Marina. In the summer season there is a bustling social and boating life in the city and there are Sunday open shops throughout the season

Huset ligger helt i enden av bilvei, så det er ikke trafikk på området. 70 meter til strand og brygge med båt som er inkludert i leien. Ny båt Pioner 14 med 9.9 Yamaha med elektrisk start og Garmin kartplotter. Langgrunn strand som passer fint for de små. Stor gressplen med trampoline ved stranden. Sup-brett og kajakker kan man låne. Med båt er man i Norges fineste skjærgård med mange små holmer og øyer som er tilgjengelige for alle. Badstue tilgjengelig for leietakere.
