Close to amenities: bakery, supermarket, pharmacy within 10 mins.

Peaceful and quiet oasis in the Morvan

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 hectare of land, a pond (very often dry) and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults, as it disturbs the neighbourhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction. Respect for the tranquillity of the hamlet is required! Thank you.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

This large, fully renovated 3* cottage offers a quiet stay to meet with friends or family, or simply for a stopover night to discover our beautiful region. Located in the heart of a pretty little village on the edge of the Canal du Nivernais, lovers of nature, fishing, walking or cycling will find happiness there. Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.
