This property was amazing! Michael met us to let us in and give us the keys. He went through details of the home in detail and also provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants, beaches, etc. We were very comfortable. The furniture and amenities made us feel at home. The most amazing aspect of the home was the huge balcony with view of the entire ocean! I could sit out there for hours! Our stay here was really good. The host and the family are all kind and ready to help or guide you through kreta. We went in Sep when it was more low season which gave us almost exclusive acces to the pool and the beach house. We had an overall good experience here!

It was perfect. Very very friendly host and a great studio with direct views of the sea. Clean and large. Many nice touches in the fridge when we arrived. Thanks a lot for that. The location is perfect with restaurants and a mini-market nearby. Air conditioning works very well. Beautiful bathroom. In the kitchen it has everything you need. (Sandwich maker, toaster, kettle, hotplate, filter coffee maker) We were in Stalis for the third time. This room was the best of all.

The place is very nice and the sea is right in front of the terrace. During our stay, we were in the approach path of the airport, which did not bother us. Our hosts were very helpful and also ordered a taxi to the airport for my grandma. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Fabulous stay!! You cannot beat the location; right in the heart of old town nestled up above all the shops. Its in an area that is busy during the day but doesnt feel like it and since the shops close around 21:30, it is quiet in the evenings. The building is very secure. There are 2 ladies that run a shop downstairs that also live in the building and they are always around, so it felt very safe. The apartment is exactly as described and well cared for; everything was clean and fresh when we arrived. The balcony is a great amenity, and we spent all of our time while in the apartment on it enjoying the breeze and sunshine. Giorgos is a wonderful host. Very quick to respond and always providing helpful hints for things to do or restuarants to try. Self check-in was easy and Giorgos provided great descriptions and pictures to help guide you.

Located on the 4th floor of a building and located very close to the center of Agios Nikolaos, this accommodation is spacious, very clean and offers all the amenities needed for short and long stays. The host, Irini is very nice, welcoming and is a great source of information. The apartment offers a breathtaking view of the bay and the port of Agios Nikolaos. Despite the scarcity of parking spaces, we have always been able to find a nearby location. Many restaurants near the accommodation and so many beautiful discoveries to do in the area. We would recommend this listing for all of these reasons.

The property offers a beautiful view and is perfectly located in Elounda to reach restaurants and shopping, only the parking is just outside!

Beautiful apartment in a great location with a large balcony (but without sun). We felt very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. Harry was very responsive and friendly. The house was really nice, just as described, and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful—if you wake up early, you can see the sun rise right in the center of the big window and watch it move all the way up. The location is good. We did hear some highway noise, and there was a friendly group of dogs that barked in the morning. But at least you could pet them they were sweet. The hot tub was nice. Although we didn’t use it as much as we thought we would. It’s on the roof, and since the house has a central spiral staircase, you need to come down it to get back inside. That made it a bit tricky with wet feet and the April nights were a bit too chilly to stay on the roof for too long after the tub. But we really enjoyed using the BBQ. Overall, we had a great time. Harry’s hospitality was top notch.

Highly recommend! A quiet area, close to everything. We stayed here start of October with our 14 yr old and 3 month old son. The apartment looks like the photos, very clean andy tidy. Very comfortable bed, was huge 💛. We had asked for a cot, which was there. The pool was lovely, very refreshing, solar heated. We were the only ones using it, due to out of main season, an unexpected luxury. The beach is a mix of sand and stones, literally just outside the gate. Within 10 mins walk is a supermarket, pharmacies, a patisserie with huge pain au chocolates - highly recommend, they also had pastries (cheese and bacon, mushroom and ham etc). If you walk along the sea front for about 20mins get into Gournes which has several beach bars, and restaurants/ cafes, we went to Taverna ambrosia, very good even had a baby change area (not everywhere has these) and soft play at the back. It’s a 45 min walk to the Creta aquarium, definitely worth a see. Ioannis arranged several taxis for us.

This was a luxury experience with every detail thought of and provided. Location stunning on the beach with beautiful view of the Aegean and sunsets. The respectful and warm history allowed us to feel at home and had great recommendations for eating visiting and shopping. Will definitely be back. Loved the ability to cook at the suite and eat on the verandah or stroll down the road and eat out at great quality and diverse restaurants. Close to Heraklion to visit the museum palaces or day trip out to Santorini. Such a great base to either relax and swim at the beach or go out to visit the sites. Staying in Agios Nikolaos is usually more costly per night than most other places in Crete so we were really delighted that Dimitris's accommodation gave us all the things we were looking for whilst being within our budget. Dimitris was very welcoming with some useful extras & treats that helped get our stay underway. He showed us around the property and provided some great info on locations and tavernas worth visiting during our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable & the shower very modern, both things were important to us. The air conditioning was efficient & the garden & shared beach area [with the adjacent villa] was lovely. The bedroom & bathroom were slightly smaller than other places we've stayed on Crete, and if walking into the centre for an evening, the walk back when dark would be maybe a bit much [return taxi a better idea] though none of these detracted from our enjoyment. Overall we were very happy & would certainly recommend Dimitris's villa.

It was one of the best places we visited. The place is new and has everything you need. It was very clean, the view was incredible, and communication and support were excellent. The grill was also great. Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation!

villa is located in the centre, very close to the beach, restaurants. Nice people around, very helpful. Although sleeping is in a first floor, and kitchen, living room and a terrace is on the 2nd floor, it has sence, because of a beautiful view from terrace. we really enjoyed our 5 nights stay. Michail's place was exactly as advertised. Extremely clean. Perfectly located within a short distance from great restaurants and coffee shops. Great view of the lake. Basic coffee and snacks were left out for us which we really appreciated. The road noise continues pretty late and can be a bit much at times but not enough for us to lessen our 5 star all around rating. Would 100% stay here again.

Really enjoyed this space, especially patio and jacuzzi. Walkable to many great restaurants and stores. Beds were comfy. George is great host, very good with recommendations and quick response time. Would definitely stay here again.

A great stay in a calm area of stalida. The beach is walkable from the apartment. There are two nice balconies to sit at, and one has shadow at all times on one of them which is very convenient in the heat. There is air condition in the bed room and a large fridge to keep stuff cool. The washing machine and stove are all new and clean. The street in front of the house is ok to park at, but there is no specific parking spots. The back balcony has a view to the sea and we really liked staying there in the evenings to chat. All in all a great stay.

this was a fantastic location, while you're in a busy area the apartment is actually peaceful and relaxing, the jacuzzi is perfect, the views from the balcony are unbelievable and it's a great spot for sunbathing, eating, drinking and relaxing. everyone has been super helpful and communicative from the minute we booked, the shop being downstairs means they are there almost 24/7 if you need anything. from this location there's so many things to do, we went on a bus to heraklion and hired a car and highly recommend agios nikolaos but you can really make your trip whatever you want it to be. thanks for a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed being guest at Dimitris place. The apartment is very cosy and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped (oil, vinegar, spices, sugar, coffee).

The apartment is perfectly located to explore the island, you are in the center of the island, immediately on the highway (recommendation: before moving in, be sure to practice driving backwards to the mountain!!) and yet the apartment is very quiet and has a great view of the sea. Especially the small balcony directly above the sea appealed to us, even if it might be a little too hot/not shaded in summer. Here you can also quickly make friends with the 4 cats, who occasionally also drive the neighbor dog to whiteness. Those who are afraid of cats should prefer to look for another apartment with these attached specimens, cat lovers will love it. Marianna's mother is a good soul, bringing eggs from the in-house chickens as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. All in all for us the perfect place to combine exploring the island with relaxation.

We had a great night at Dafni's place which is very welcoming. The small private terrace with sea view for breakfast or aperitif is exceptional! Beautiful Voulisma Beach is within walking distance from the bedroom. If time had allowed us, we would have spent more time at Dafni's place. We can wholeheartedly recommend this listing!
