Lake Edward adjoins the property & offers a nice tranquil feeling when sitting on the pier, kayaking or walking the bush trails. The Limestone Coast & Coonawarra wine region is sure to impress travellers & wine enthusiasts.

Tawarri Bushland Retreat (main house)

This beautiful architect designed house, made from the local stone, is situated on an acre of quiet and secluded natural bushland. Tawarri is 150m away from the beautiful Glenelg River, 300m from the Lower Glenelg National Park and only 4km from the unbroken beaches of Discovery Bay, making it an ideal setting for swimming, walking, bird watching, fishing, or simply retreating from a busy life. Note - we are unable to supply linen and towels at present, and kindly ask you to bring your own.

Two Storey - North facing beach home 100 m to ski lake. Located a short walk into the Main Street and Mahalia coffee but away enough from the hustle and bustle. Stroll onto Hoopers beach or jump in the car out to long beach. The ski lake has a beautiful reserve where the kids can have a paddle whilst you cook a bbq. We really hope you enjoy your stay. Our newly renovated front yard is great for games on the lawn or perfect spot to have an afternoon beverage soaking in those rays.

Karrawirra Cottage - self contained and stylish

You will find our renovated, freestone cottage situated in a quiet, one-way street, a short walk into the centre of town. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen sized beds, quality linen and fans. Rainwater supplies our fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Reverse cycle air conditioning and an electric fireplace ensure year round comfort. We offer continental breakfast provisions that include fresh fruit, yoghurt, milk, butter, bread and cereals.

Its excellent location makes the newly renovated pub, kiosk and river less than a 5min walk from the house. The stunning enclosed gazebo area has amazing river views and makes for an ideal place to cook a BBQ dinner and watch the sunset over the estuary, protected from the elements and any pesky bugs .
