Monthly Rentals in Little Thornage

We had a lovely stay at Melanie’s sweet little cottage in the centre of Holt. Easy walk to all the local shops and cafes, and we parked in the Albert street car park which even had an EV charger - all very convenient. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. Comfy bed and spotless bathroom. The considerate touches, such as milk, tea, coffee, a lovely loaf of bread and homemade orange cakes upon arrival were delightful and much appreciated. Mel even left treats for our dog :) We’ll definitely be back, and will stay for longer.

The duck cottage was a perfect base for the North Norfolk coast, within walking distance of the lovely Holt and within very short driving distance of the coast. The cottage itself is lovely - it is situated down a quiet road and has front parking. The garden is gorgeous, spacious and secure for a dog. The indoors are charming, with lots of amenities and very toddler friendly with a stair gate, travel cot and high chair. The hosts left us dog treats, wine and biscuits - they were also very responsive and gave us local recommendations. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Norfolk.

10/10! We absolutely loved staying there. It was actually even nicer than the photos. Very clean, spacious and homely. An easy walk into Holt and only a short drive away from some great beaches. Our Labrador felt absolutely spoilt too! Set back on a lane it was very quiet. Thanks so much for an amazing stay, we’ll definitely be back in the future.

We were looking for a place to escape for NYE as we wanted somewhere in the country and quiet! Elaine’s annex was excellent, clean, and as described! Would recommend 😊
