The "Casa del Notari" has its origins in the year 1242, when it was established as a notary and registry by the religious figures of the time, being one of the oldest in Catalonia. It is located in the historic center of Castellfollit de la Roca, a town within the Natural Park of the volcanic area of La Garrotxa, being a good starting point for excursions in the area, and less than 45 minutes from the beach or the Pyrenees Mountains.
