Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. House is much more spacious than the photos suggest. And great views out of the house all round. Warm throughout the house the full trip. Underfloor heating is a joy. Perfect place to get away and just chill. No hassles, traffic or people. And Kimberley was on hand for any help / advice. Would definitely go back.

The place is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and a nice town with stores and a few good restaurants. Ella and Daniel live close by; they’re very friendly and welcoming but also gave us privacy and were not intrusive. The pod is cozy but my wife and I (slightly tall) were very comfortable and at home. Also: very clean, simple, and easy to use. We were exploring Skye and while it was more of a drive than staying in Portree, we avoided more touristy areas and had more quiet. And I loved the drive! A chance to explore even more from a comfortable temporary home.

This is our second stay at Francesca's cottage - we loved it so much the first time we had to come back! The cottage is exactly as described and is a superb base for exploring Wester Ross, Skye and beyond. Fantastically equipped and very homely. A great quiet location but within easy walking distance of the shops , cafes and restaurants in Kyle. If you are looking for a home away from home in this part of the world, then this is perfect.
