Monthly Rentals in Loch Gleann Dubh

When booking a family reunion I wanted something very special and memorable. This holiday home is set within the most beautiful bay, 2 minutes walk from the beach at Clachtoll. Our Easter week was glorious with sunshine every day. We walked, enjoyed picnics, ate lovely meals out at Delilah’s and the Lochinver Pie shop. A wildlife boat trip out of Lochinver with Skipper Tony is great fun for young and old alike. For any ornithologists a trip to Handa will be joyous…..we were lucky to see puffin!! The layout of the holiday home is excellent with lots of space and importantly there are two bedrooms on the ground floor ideal for elderly or anyone with mobility issues. What a beautiful bothy in beautiful surroundings! So lovely and remote, just what we hoped for. Claire’s communication was great and the place was clean and cosy. With everything you need for a comfortable stay. Well stocked kitchen with pots pans and utensils for cooking a meal. Easy to use micro oven. Also a small thing but something I really appreciate is fluffy towels! Would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

A wonderful little bothy to stay in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Peaceful with lovely views and lots of beautiful birds to watch in the garden!

The place is rustic, but great views and surroundings. We spent our time in the front porch area, relaxing and taking in the views. A bit more heating would have been a bonus, but great to have washer and dryer to use FOC. Area is very remote so stock up, thanks for a great stay!
