Monthly Rentals in Loch Katrine

We had a wonderful few days in the Hayloft. Dorothy was a fantastic host, even though we didn't meet. We felt welcomed in! The accomodation was super clean, comfy and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting in the garden, taking in some rare Scottish sun and watching the birds. I would definitely love to stay in the Hayloft again <3

Thank you to Karl & Katie for another awesome stay. The suite was spotlessly clean. The tea tray and wines were lovely touches. The facilities were brilliant. Great space for clothes and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was gleaming. We visited the three lochs while there, Loch Goil, Loch Long and Loch Lomond. We also went to Inveraray Castle. Would highly recommend Karl’s place.

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞
