Cabin holiday rentals in Loch Linnhe

We had everything we needed during our stay! What stood out for us was the location with beautiful views and lots places to walk and cycle. We felt very relaxed after using the hot tub. I would highly recommend staying at this place if you would like to visit the Queen Elizabeth forest.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, abgelegen, mit Schaf- und Kuhweiden. Die Tomatin Destillerie ist sehr nahe und sehr zu empfehlen! Auch Inverness ist sehr nahe und für den Einkauf ist Aviemore sehr zu empfehlen, hat dort einen Lidl und mehr. (waren mit dem Mietauto unterwegs) Einziger Punkt: die Küche ist recht einfach ausgestattet, wir hatten daher in Aviemore noch ein-zwei Küchenutensilien dazugekauft. Bei Fragen und Themen standen James und Kitty immer zur Verfügung und eine Antwort kam schnell zurück. Zur Information: es befinden sich zwei Lodges nebeneinander, die jeweils auch an Familien mit kleinen Kinder vermietet werden. Wer mit seinem Partner alleine Zweisamkeit sucht, muss daher berücksichtigen, dass auch Kinderlärm vorhanden sein kann.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

Wild Thistle Lodge absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The location is out of this world — the views are simply breathtaking, like something from a postcard. Every corner of the lodge was immaculate, cozy, and clearly designed with so much love and attention to detail. Jane, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She had a full folder waiting for us with recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and even directions to everything — it made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely at home the minute you walk in, but Wild Thistle Lodge was exactly that. The peaceful surroundings, the stunning views, the thoughtful touches throughout the lodge — it all came together to create one of the best stays we have ever had. We are already planning our next trip back. If you’re considering booking Wild Thistle Lodge — don’t hesitate for a second.

A lovely find in a gorgeous scenic location. The lodge was warm and cosy, with everything we needed, including an extremely comfortable bed! We made full use of the hot tub which was plenty big enough and kept at a good temperature. We enjoyed walking in the local area and had an excellent meal at the Crinan Hotel Seafood Bar as recommended in the guest pack. Our hosts were great and made sure that any issue was fixed swiftly.

Ali is an excellent host - a truly wonderful lady with a really warm personality - she made us feel so welcome and looked after. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed, but what we loved most was the quirkiness and noticing something new every time we wandered around. It’s clear that a lot of love and creativity has gone into this magical wee place. The grounds and location are so peaceful and tranquil - dining outside around the fire pit and stargazing after some time in the hot bath and sauna was a real treat. We loved the stillness of the place - a very welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We absolutely loved our stay and have told all our friends about this wee gem. The cabin is a lovely location for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. The views are stunning and the walks around the site are very good. The hot tub was a nice feature, and we used it a few times while we were there.

Stunning location and well laid out cabin. Very quiet except for the little stream next to the path. As far as I can tell there was nothing on the website that warned there is no fridge freezer. This can be an issue for self catering travellers and we may not have booked if we'd known. As there are only 2 power outlets which need to be used sparingly a battery operated wall clock would also be useful.

Wir waren nach einer anstrengenden Anreise eine Nacht zur Entspannung hier und es war so wunderbar. Einchecken, genießen, schlafen, essen, Fernsehen, schlafen... Perfekt! Action gäbe es genug, die haben wir nur nicht gesucht!!! Alles wunderbar! Danke

such a wonderful place to stay. beautiful area with lots of lovely walks. cabin was cosy and perfect for what we needed! we saw so much wildlife such as deer and red squirrels which was such a treat!

We had a great weekend break in Fort William staying at Jakkie's cabin. The location was ideal for us with free parking and a trail right next to the cabin which was perfect for walking our dog. The cabin is a perfect space for 2 people (and a dog). Would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed a walk around loch ,forest and hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing holidays. The bed was comfy.

what can I say that hasn't already been said? Wonderful comfy cabin with everything you might need & more. Very helpful host allowed us to check in early as we had travelled since 1.30am. Area is stunningly beautiful & took my breath away - lots to do within an hours travelling. We visited Bute, Oban, Inveraray & lots more. Will definitely be returning.

La casa è un piccolo cottage bucolico in mezzo alla natura, con una splendida vista sul mare e sul verde, gli unici suoni sono quelli delle pecorelle al pascolo. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, in un ambiente confortevole a cui non manca davvero nulla. Non abbiamo potuto stare molto sul portico, data la pioggia, ma abbiamo goduto del fuoco nella stufa che aveva già tutto l’occorrente per i due giorni che siamo stati lì. In generale consiglio questo posto soprattutto se avete qualche giorno da spendere sull’isola di Skye e nessuna fretta di girarla, essendo a sud per alcune attrazioni naturali dell’isola non è comoda la distanza, ma avendo tempo non c’è alcun problema. Grazie mille ad Anita per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità.

We loved our stay in Hawthorne, perfect little hobbits hut. Comfortable and warm private and secluded.

Cabina davvero stupenda con una vista spettacolare! Lauren poi è un host fantastica, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli, nonchè lasciato le uova fresche della sua gallina (adorabile, ogni mattina passava fuori la cabina a darci il buongiorno :). La cabina era caldissima al nostro arrivo, molto gradito in questo freddo periodo di novembre! Il posto è magnifico, perfetto per chi cerca un piccolo angolo di paradiso, lontano dalle luci artificiali della città, e in cui avere modo di ammirare benissimo le stelle e la natura, immersi nel silenzio. Puoi avvistare tanti animali selvatici (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna non solo di vedere tante specie di uccelli, ma anche una lontra pescare e poi venire a farsi una passeggiata a riva non molto distante da noi!). La cabina è davvero adorabile, super confortevole, pulitissima, dotata di una doccia grande e un letto comodissimo. Un atmosfera bellissima all'interno e un alloggio attrezzato di tutto l'indispensabile

We had a wonderful stay at Iona chalet. Everything was very straight forward and great communication with Sally. The chalet was perfect with some lovely personal touches (birthday card, wine and local produce). Some great recommendations for restaurants highly recommended the Tigh & Truish & The Old Inn ( worth the drive!). Seil is a beautiful Island well worth a visit. The chalet is a beautiful peaceful location. Would highly recommend & Sally was a great host.

Me and my partner had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Seal Cove Cabin during the New Year break! Louisa & Peter were fantastic hosts and were very helpful when checking in and recommending local places to visit, eat or local walks with our dog. There is nothing negative we could possibly say during our whole stay! The cabin is very cosy and we felt so comfortable from the moment we got there. Overall, fantastic stay at the cabin and will look to book again for our next trip to Scotland!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sara’s cabin. The location was perfect for us - quiet, beautiful, comfortable. Walking and kayaking from the door and we were treated to a couple of otter sighting whilst we were there. Sara was a great host, and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the lodge with our 1 year old for her 1st birthday and Caroline was very attentive she got a travel cot ready and a high chair and even left some chocolate eggs out for Harley and made me and my boyfriend a little hamper it was really thoughtful. The lodge was beautiful very nicely decorated and modern so overall was a lovely stay and Caroline was very helpful and pleasant so thank you ☺️

We had a great stay as a family of 4 plus a dog. Plenty of space inside and out, spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen to cook for a family. We found the location good with access to amazing loch and mountain areas.

Gregor's cabin is ideal for few days out in countryside away from busy life. lots of public woodland and trails within walking distance and Gregor also rents bikes which are good on the local trails to loch Avich. All in all great stay and very easy going and local host
