Monthly Rentals in Loch of Lowes

Had a nice few days in Birnam. Lots of good walks and Dunkeld was just a short stroll away. Property was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and well appointed cottage in a very quiet location, the perfect place to unwind! Expertly hosted by Catherine from the provision of detailed instructions on finding ‘Roughstones’ to personal touches of a hand written welcome note not to mention the home baking!! This is a real gem that offers rural tranquility whist the towns of Dunkeld and Blairgowrie are only 10 mins by car. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roughstones or stay again in the future.

Thank you Kathryn for making our holiday a relaxing break. Going home feeling refreshed. What a beautiful place of tranquility. The check in and out times are fabulous and made it possible to squeeze every last bit of holiday vibe from our stay. We really appreciated our leisurely last morning. Also, really dog friendly.

We had a lovely 7 days stay in Little Dunkeld. gate to the highlands, if you have a car, it opens many sites to discover, from Edinburgh to Inverness...it's pretty much in the middle of Scotland. and by foot, Dunkeld is a very pretty small city, and offers as well lots of public footpaths. don't hesitate !! the flat is similar to the pictures on the site, it's clean, well decored, well equiped, located in a very quiet street. it doesn't own its private parking place, but during the whole stay we never struggled to find a place near it. Alas Diane, was away when we came, but she left clear instructions and was very reactive each time I requested an information. in other words : 100 % recommanded !
