We stayed at Matti’s house with our two children and two grandparents, and had a fantastic time. Matti is very friendly and helpful, and responds quickly. The house was both beautiful and practical - the glassed terraces on both floors are very cozy when it rains, and when it was sunny we thoroughly enjoyed the garden and balcony. Our kids especially loved the play house outside, and the rings and swing downstairs. The area is peaceful and right by the water, while only being a couple minutes by car from a large shopping center and 24h supermarket. Korkeasaari zoo and several beaches are also within just a short ride. Highly recommended, would happily stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at Veronica's house - it is utterly charming. Clearly a much loved family holiday house with all of the touches that conveyed warmth and a sense of homeliness. It perfectly suited our needs as a family of 5 and we were delighted by having access to bicycles that allowed us to explore the town and local swimming spots. We particularly appreciated the period features of the house and carefully chosen furniture. Veronica was a charming and communicative host and was very responsive. We would love to come back to Hanko again.

Four girlfriends who had booked accommodation for a weekend at the end of January. Nicely renovated old house out in the countryside. Quiet environment. The decor very successful and cozy with combination of old and new. We were daily admiring all the nice details. The kitchen is well equipped. Cozy with possibility to have a fire. Anneli responded quickly to our questions.

Tea was a warm & welcoming host. She made a delicious vegetarian dinner to share. The space was so open & clutter-free. Cozy hammock too & beautiful surroundings, very close to Inkoo. Would come again for sure!

It was a lovely little , very clean and stylishly furnished apartment, a super friendly Maarit. If you love peace and quiet, this is the place to be. But also for activities, everything is easy to reach by car.

The most wonderful, clean, and the most thoughtful airbnb listing and host we've experienced!! ♡ We greatly appreciated everything that was done to keep guests comfortable; you felt so welcome, and the decor, cleanliness, and amenities of the cabin were a delight to the eye and mind. This place really only got to enjoy and rest, which was the purpose of our visit. The good sound insulation of the cottage also made sure that the traffic of the nearby road did not disturb the night's sleep and, despite the proximity of the main building, the stay felt nice and private. Thanks again for making it possible for a peaceful mini-vacation for two people who have gone away ♡ We can warmly recommend the place:)

With Ara's dog, a great location during the New Year's celebration, in privacy, a small and cozy stay with everything you need. Definitely coming back!

Enjoyed a lovely two-night stay over the May Day holiday. We loved the easy access to the cabin using public transport, its proximity to woods and hiking trails, and adored the sauna with a view. The guest bikes were great, a brunch at a nearby manor house was tasty enough, and we were even gifted freshly laid eggs by our gracious hosts. If you're looking for total privacy and quiet, bear in mind the main house is fairly close by and planes can be heard overhead. Overall, though, the cabin is a winner.

Nice cottage by a cute little lake. There were other neighbours around but it didn't disturb at all, even now in early spring when the naked trees don't offer yet full privacy. Cottage itself is very neat, cozy and it has all needed (incl nice games for the rainy day). It is not very large, but it has a very smart distribution and separation of spaces. Feels larger than it really is. We had rainy and coldish weather, and therefore the glazed terrace was the weekend savior. Sauna had nice and smooth heat. Would go again.

We had an amazing time! So much to explore around, so many opportunities to relax! I will come back if i get the Chance for sure!

We spent a wonderful Easter weekend in Sofia's cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated, keeping the old house vibe. Every little detail, the color scheme was thoughtfully thought out. The equipment level surprised expectations, even the electric mixer was found. Coffee, tea, detergents were of high quality, and the bed was good for sleeping. In the wood sauna, great steam in the light of candle lanterns. Small pond next to it for cooling off. For breakfast, there was a pheasant walk under the kitchen window and wild deer in the field. We found hiking trails in the woods, and we went jogging with the dog. Weather favored, we grilled in the yard. We highly recommend. The little fairytale cottage was a great getaway for city dwellers, and communication with Sofia was quick and smooth. Perfect!

A wonderful resting oasis where the mind really rested. The cottage was lovely and beautifully decorated, the sauna and hot tub crowned the cottage for the weekend. Daisy and her husband were friendly and helpful with a big heart,❤️ our anniversary had been thoughtfully added to the surprise❤️Little Chicken Eggs were tasty and a lovely addition to the weekend treats. If you're looking for peace without unnecessary drippers, this is a sure choice. Everything was included, and just needed your own clothes and food for the❤️ evening swimming with Daisy was an unforgettable experience❤️ we'll definitely be back ❤️

What a wonderful place where the mind rests! Villa Hattara combines a sweet old-fashioned vibe, stunning surrounding nature, and the necessary modern-day amenities. In the yard under the old trees, it was nice to sit on a barbecue, admire the roar of the rapids, and listen to the birdsong. Special mention of a sauna with great steam and great views of the river from the deck! Heidi is a nice host with whom communication was straightforward. Absolutely one of a kind place! ♡
