Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large sloping plot on the shore of the clean Storträsk lake. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included.

Cottage dream in Karjalohja by the lake + sauna

A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The cottage has a living room, bedroom, sleeping alcove, hallway, dressing room and sauna (approx. 44m2). In addition, guests have access to a guest house with two separate small rooms and sleeping accommodations for up to three. At best, the cottage's facilities are used by 2-4 people during the winter months, but during the summer, even a larger group can fit. Here you can relax and enjoy your own peace.

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

The idyllic cottage is located on the slope, in its own peace, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. You should arrive at the cottage via road 1030, NOT via Rakuunatorpantie = wrong route + big uphill). Children under 16 years old FREE (2 children, accompanied by an adult). UNFORTUNATELY, PETS ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE COTTAGE. In the midst of the energy crisis, the electric car charge is priced separately at 15e/day. Alternatively, report the electricity meter readings before and after your stay.

Is there a hot climate in the southern Europe right now and still getting worse when the summer season goes ahead? Why wouldn't you make an alternative holiday trip to Finland? Kettula is a renovated lakeside property on the shores of Oksjärvi, about 55 minutes from Helsinki. This spacious cottage sits on a large lawn with a private sandy beach, pier, and a terrace with a 9-person jacuzzi. Indoors, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, a bright living area with a fireplace, and a kitchen with modern appliances. A separate sauna building with panoramic lake views adds a special touch. Local cafes, walking trails, and small museums are within easy reach.

The apartment is located on the first residential floor (not on the ground level,no elevator). The apartment has an entire apartment-wide glazed balcony, where you can easily reach even Lohjanjärvi, which is only a couple of hundred meters away. You can easily shop in Prisma, about a hundred meters away. Downtown other shops and restaurants are just around the corner.
