Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lorain County

Amazing place to stay. Jon and Melody are super friendly, very accommodating, and made me feel at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the month!

Kelly was a great host, answered any question we had. The house is beautiful and accommodated our big family perfectly. Will stay again next time we visit family.

Melody and Jonathan are very friendly and welcoming hosts. I felt like home as we share stories, cook great food and visit places together. Dogs are friends as well, they always are eagerly waiting to play with me. I would definitely recommend their place which is surrounded by beautiful golf course landscape and great restaurants within 3 miles.

We had a great stay at the house to visit our daughter for Easter. The property was perfect for hosting our daughter and her friends from college; plenty of outdoor space for a cookout, a warm and cozy interior to help the college kids feel "at home", and comfortable accommodations for us all who stayed at the house. The yard is large with a fenced-in area for our dog, who LOVED it! Please keep in mind if there is rain, the yard can be a bit soggy, but that is to be expected and didn't deter us at all. The grill and other kitchen/cooking amenities were great, and Marcia left a TON of snacks and breakfast food for the house. The whole vibe of the place is authentically "farmhouse", which we loved. We did not use any televisions. etc, but we did see a few, so "modern conveniences" are there. We will surely consider renting again for future trips and highly recommend this rental.

What a wonderful place - exactly the right fit for a quiet autumn weekend visit. My top floor area was perfect for me and just as described - the rest of the house and the beautiful ground floor rooms were just a super lovely surprise. Historic and elegant but also cosy and welcoming. The location was perfect for walking to the Con, the Arb and everything else. I’ll definitely be hoping to stay again.

Truly one of, if not the most pleasant stays I’ve ever had. The room was definitely the nicest I’ve ever stayed in — comfortable, antiques and original art, great chairs, tiled private bath. The home is beautiful — hand-crafted Arts-and-Crafts style. Heather is super friendly and Heidi (her German Shepherd) is a sweetheart (once she gets to know you). Heather generously provided a delicious home-cooked breakfast to accommodate my schedule. I wish I could have stayed longer!

What a pleasure it was to stay with Audrey! She is very friendly and very welcoming. My daughter and I stayed a couple of nights before dorm move-in. Our attic room had plenty of space for both of us and felt very private. We were jet-lagged and slept in late but Audrey saved some delicious homemade quiche and juices for our breakfast. I hope to stay with her again and attend one of her yoga classes downtown which is a super short drive away or a 15/20 minute easy walk.

Had a great stay at Victor’s B&B! His place is filled with stories! Breakfast was incredible; both in display and to the palette! Our room and bathroom had everything we needed and more. Great walkable location to anywhere you’d need to go on Oberlin’s campus. Thank you, Victor! Just wish we would have found this place 4 years ago when our kiddo was a freshman!

Victor is such a gracious, attentive host — very caring when it came to making sure we were fed, and the food he prepared was next-level: incredibly artful in its presentation, as well as super delicious and healthy. The house itself is beautiful — full of all kinds of decorative treasures and unusual collections — and we loved the room we stayed in (the Austen), which was extremely clean, lovely, well-appointed with everything we could have possibly needed, and furnished with a super comfortable bed. (The location of the house was also perfect for us, as we were in Oberlin to visit the college and Victor’s place is practically on campus.) Everything about our stay was great, and best of all, throughout the whole process, Victor was incredibly communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

Joe and Susan are the nicest people you could ever meet. The house is a museum with great amenities. If you love history and the truth this is your place. Joe is a history resource. He has knowldge the books would skip. The property is very relaxing. Just outside of town so you have privacy. Oberlin is 10 minutes away by car. The Bed and Breakfast itself has significant history.
