Guest house holiday rentals in Los Feliz, Los Angeles

Overall a great stay and home base for exploring the area. We stayed with our toddler and the bin of books and toys was awesome and kept him pretty occupied. I also appreciated the easy checkout and not having to do a billion things before leaving because its hard enough to get a 2 year old out the door! The host was responsive and let us check in a little early.

We arrived on a Monday, easily found the cottage and got settled. Walked around the neighborhood and found a place nearby for dinner. On Tuesday we had plans in LA and as we were headed back to the cottage a wildfire broke out nearby. We were not familiar enough with the area to feel comfortable guessing at whether we should evacuate or not...and people around us were clearly evacuating. So we ended up leaving, but Julia reached out several times, even though I'm sure she was busy with her house and cottage. Not the vacation that we planned, but we made the best of it. The cottage was really nice.

Every thing was good and perfect. We enjoyed and sure we came back again because we had best time there.

Clean, quiet and spacious. Has all the amenities one can need + well stocked with cutlery, linens, trash bags, etc..

Randy is a great host. He is friendly, helpful and flexible. He also provides some very nice unexpected bonuses, like breakfast food and a bottle of wine. The place is modern, clean and beautifully appointed. It’s a quiet corner in a hip neighborhood. The location is fantastic. The parking is a great feature. I will come back to Randy’s place again and again.

The property is exactly as described on a quiet street in South Pasadena. A few short blocks from a park, shops and restaurants it is conveniently located for those looking for a retreat or a temporary space to call home. I want to particularly thank Cara for her quick responses and kindness in helping a dear friend who needed to find a home after the fires. Her thoughtfulness and assistance during this difficult time is greatly appreciated when others took advantage of the situation.

This was a clean, extremely comfortable, and tastefully decorated apartment (full of original art!) with wonderful light and beautiful surroundings. Debbie was responsive and so friendly. Not fancy but far from shoddy! Entrance does require going up a fairly steep flight of stairs.

We stayed at Brett’s place for 2 weeks to visit our son. We felt right at home and walked the neighborhood every day. The washing machine handle broke and Brett had a new one overnighted! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen table size could expand for office space as well as dining space. We would stay again!

We came to LA from Silicon Valley for a DJ and stayed for the weekend. The guesthouse is fantastic and I highly recommend it! I think it’s the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. The location is great and we walked to a couple restaurants that were 15-25 minutes away. The bed is super comfortable! Hosts were very responsive and not at all intrusive. 10 out of 10 stay!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. :) Even though the bungalow is kind of "under" the main house, it feels totally removed and private, and the surrounding hills are beautiful. Waking up to that view each morning was pure zen. Do note of the steep wooden stairs to get to/from the bungalow--they're in the pictures but I still didn't realize just how steep they were in person. Only noting it because they may be challenging if you have an injury or have very heavy luggage. And if you're driving, you'll need to be comfortable backing into the small assigned spot next to their car. It's definitely doable! Just another "FYI", because I know I wouldn't have been comfortable with it myself (but luckily my husband handled it like a pro, haha). We had a wonderful time and the bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable! I haven't slept that well in a while...I'll be buying the same pillows when I get home! Thank you for everything, Alina! :)

Great location for Hollywood area attractions, Paramount Studios, LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, Academy Museum, Rodeo Drive, Cedar Sinai and surrounding MDs and Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Much shopping nearby (10 minute walk) . Locations above were within 10-15 minutes driving (1.5 - 3 miles). Off-street parking is a definite plus. Clean, quiet and as advertised. Dogs can be kept inside if that is an issue for you - they are very friendly, though.

A very clean and comfortable place, we were able to visit the surroundings without so many complications, I consider that it is also a considerable price for the place

This is the second time we stayed at Camille’s place in Atwater. It’s the perfect space for us when visiting LA & has everything we needed so we booked it again. It’s clean, modern, private & a great location. On top of that Camille really has thought of everything and has so many thoughtful items available if you need them. Will always be a go to stay when we are in LA!

I had stayed the weekend with a friend for a concert and it exceeded our expectations! The place was super clean and the outdoor hangout area was adorable. The instructions for finding the airbnb and everything else were very easy to understand. Even the drive up there was beautiful!

I wasn't at the place for long because I was using it as a space to work for a day, so my review probably isn't extremely helpful to those who are staying here for a longer period of time or are on vacation to a new location. But Ed's place was great. It matched the listing. I am very familiar with the area, as I grew up int he area. It is very nice, quite, and safe. Had I been visiting Santa Monica from somewhere else, this place would be a great spot for a single person or couple who are visiting SoCal and needed a place to rest their heads in between sightseeing. It felt like a spot that my wife and I would have stayed in when we used to travel on a budget prior to having a family. The spot very much served its purpose for my use for the day. I plan on using Ed's place in the future if I need a quite place to work for a day or two.

Faisal's studio is in a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood. Sitting outside on the small deck with a glass of wine was a beautiful way to end the afternoon. The studio is very nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathroom had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.

The five of us had a great time. There was enough room and amenities. It was clean and quiet. Would stay again.

Franco's and Iris's place is amazing! Great location, very comfy backyard with world-class hot tub. Franco and Iris are super friendly and helpful and got out of their way to make our stay the best possible. Would definitely recommend!

This place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It was easy to find, clean, and well-organized. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend booking here.

Bertha’s place was clean and organized. I loved the location, it was only a few miles away from most things to do. The water pressure for the shower is a little weak, however it was pretty quick to produce hot water. The kitchen was clean and it was easy to find what I was looking for. The bed was a little on the hard side but it’s was still comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Lu is a great host and communicated our entry and exit very well. The place was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. It is a great for a couple or small family. We will be back next time we visit the area.
