Casa Poesía keeps the traditional architecture of El Hierro alive: stone walls, a juniper wood shingle roof, and a private courtyard create a harmonious architectural ensemble, a poetic home. Built by my paternal grandparents in 1900 and restored in recent years step by step with lots of love and warmth. A haven for writers, readers, travellers and artists, a relaxing stay or a perfect getaway!

It is located at one end of the main street in a quiet area a few meters from all services (banks, bars, restaurants, post office, supermarkets, etc.) Less than a 10-minute drive away you have many places of interest such as the natural pools of La Maceta, El Charco Azul, El Hotel Punta Grande or the Ecomuseum of Guinea where the Giant Lizard of El Hierro is located. The cottage has a small terrace overlooking the ocean.

With a spectacular terrace where you can enjoy views of the sea and the mountains, it also has a very special cactus garden🌵. The house is divided into 3 bedrooms for 6 people (2 doubles and 1 with 2 beds), a living room, a large kitchen and a bathroom. All with air conditioning. The port and airport ⛵️✈️ are very close.

I am renting a tiny house below my property in the gulf valley of El Hierro. Shower outside, loo inside. A small kitchen beside the accomodation, which is for one person only. Good WIFI-access. This is no hotel-room in the wilderness, no wardrobe. Basic and cozy.
