Wonderful little house perfect for a couple with one child. Less than 10 minutes walk to the centre and shops closer than that. I will be back. 😎

Great little cottage in the villages outside of Carlisle. Wetheral has a great train station for getting in and out of Carlisle without the car. There are even trains into Newcastle! The village is great with a post office, cafe, shop, pub and restaurant. The local hotel, which is a 5 min walk, has a pool and gym which you can pay to use during your stay. Although there is no designated parking, parking outside was easy and no problem. Had a maximum of a 10m walk into the property from the car. Check in was so easy and cannot fault the stay.

An ideal little stop off on our way to the Highlands, this place was perfect for what we needed. The provision of air fryer and a microwave was ample for our needs and the wifi was fast. Laura had left great advice in the form of appliance instructions and information on the local which were much appreciated. It was quiet, comfortable and everything we needed thank you

Spotlessly clean and cosy spot looking out over immaculate garden and fields. Plenty of space for two and everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Recommended as local pub Fox & Pheasant Inn in Armathwaite for a great meal and walk along the river.
