Brick Red ~countryhouse~ Sulmona

BarbaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The place was perfect! We were two couples traveling together. The views were spectacular with snow capped mountains. Barbara made our dinner reservations for us at amazing restaurants in the town of Sulmona, Italy. The place had two en-suite bathrooms, very comfortable and clean.

Lally'sHouse

SaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a beautiful stay in this house in the heart of Monte Livata, surrounded by the woods and the refreshing silence of the mountain. The house is a perfect retreat for those looking for peace, relaxation and contact with nature. The property is taken care of in every detail and equipped with all comforts: efficient heating, equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, cozy fireplace and spacious and bright indoor spaces. Perfect both in summer and in winter, this home is ideal for hiking, walks in the woods, days in the snow or just to relax in front of the fireplace with a good book. Very kind and very welcoming owners. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Casa Liri

Emilia MonikaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The accommodation in Camporotondo was delicious: very nice, warm and welcoming, perfect for those looking for peace, tranquility and silence. The surroundings are beautiful, and with the snow in the mountains the atmosphere has become even more magical. However, it is important to know that Camporotondo does not have restaurants or supermarkets, with the exception of a nearby hotel that offers both restaurant and bar service. This could create some inconvenience for those who need to buy essentials, such as water or food to cook at home, since it is necessary to go down to Tagliacozzo to find a supermarket. The mobile connection is limited (only 2G for those who use Vodafone), and the Wi-Fi, while useful, was unstable and only worked at times. In addition, in winter, it is essential to arrive with appropriate clothing and cars, as the streets tend to freeze, creating some difficulties. Overall, it was a great experience! Thanks to the owners for hosting!

Pescasseroli Appartment with private garden

isabellaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
our hosts were really fantastic, always present and attentive to our needs, very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is exactly like a photo, warm and cozy, the large garden in front was covered with snow, which made our arrival even more evocative, comfortable beds and a kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and warm, a real mountain cabin with fabulous views and beautiful surroundings. The center of Pescasseroli is easily reachable with a short walk, I highly recommend this beautiful house for an unforgettable vacation!

Independent studio in the olive grove

KathyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Such a lovely welcome to Sylvia’s home with a delicious apple cake baked by her mother! We wanted to stay somewhere near Tivoli to see the fabulous gardens at Villa d’este and it didn’t disappoint. Neither did they! Up high with lovely peaceful grounds, view of Rome and lovely attention from Sylvia’s parents who were so friendly, introduced us to their two donkeys and gave us eggs from their hens and olive oil from their trees! I loved sitting outside in the December morning sunshine with my coffee overlooking the beautiful gardens, chatting to her parents and listening to the braying donkeys! Sylvia was most attentive to all our needs. It was a lovely experience.

Casa Paradiso

SimoneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stefano's apartment is perfect for those who plan to spend a few days of tranquility in a beautiful part of Abruzzo, in the middle of Gran Sasso Park. Spacious, fully equipped, clean, equipped with a garden overlooking the surrounding mountains. The apartment is perfect for families, even with small children. The added value of this apartment is definitely the hospitality of Stefano and his family. Stefano's father, Dino, welcomed me and my family as fraternal friends, giving great tips about the area and even helping us manage the house (on several occasions, even in the early morning, he helped me light the fire of the fireplace). Stefano even brought us great meat from the butcher shop where he works. In short, perfect accommodation and incredible hospitality! When we go to Abruzzo, we will definitely be back at this place!

Spacious house with sunny garden

GiuliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house is very nice, characteristic and spacious. The garden with bbq is enjoyable and the house really has EVERYTHING you could need. We were 2 families and we always had at least 1 meal a day in the house and we had everything we needed. Washer and dryer present. We went in Easter week, the village was uninhabited, but the house is in the majella park and there are already many trails. Also the location is not bad because it is halfway between the eagle area and the Pescara area. Clearly you have to get around by car, but you can easily reach many wonderful places. The nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes away, the restaurant is 10 minutes away. It was the vacation we wanted, for us it was beautiful!

Staying in Tagliacozzo in winter is like living a nativity scene and Davide's little house is completely in line with this magical feeling: collected spaces, wood-burning stove, balcony overlooking the mountain and the valley below… Davide is then a helpful and very caring host.

The Standa's house in the village

MarcoRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Very cozy house equipped with everything you need and even more! Reserved parking space in front of the entrance. A nice view from the terraces of the living room and double bedroom. On foot you can reach the main street in two minutes where there is a supermarket, bars, restaurants etc. The historic center is beautiful during the day, charming at night. You can quickly reach the other beautiful neighboring villages (Calscio, Ofena etc.) but also the mountains (Campo Imperatore). We had a great time, the very helpful lady responds to messages immediately

Rustic house with great view of the mountains

GiuseppeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. It has helped us realize what we truly love and want. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed their time 🫶

Guest House: Casa dei Lillà

AnujRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Words cannot describe how beautiful this place really is. Right in the midst of nature, you are always surrounded by peace, quiet and the sounds of nature. Both Luigino and Giuilo are exceptional hosts. They met us near the property to guide us in and showed around the place with great details. They were extremely helpful and warm welcoming to us. Gave us all kinds of recommendations which proved extremely helpful. Had we known that we were staying at such an amazing place of such lovely people, we would have stayed for much longer. We had the best experience so far of all our trips with AirBnb and would love to return again and again to this great place! Thank you very much for the warmth and welcome that Luigino and Giuilo showed us.

Casa Renzo-stanza Santa Maria

WillemRating, 5 stars17 months ago
I had the pleasure of staying in Claudia’s BnB for almost two months and cannot recommend it enough. The place is clean, has good amenities, and is generally comfortable to stay in. Claudia is an incredibly kind and helpful person. The exact neighborhood the BnB is in is not perfect as a lot or buildings damaged during the earthquake are still undergoing reconstruction. However, taking the finished buildings in the center as reference, the BnB’s area has a very promising future. Because I was here for work reasons, I cannot comment too much about vacation life. However, the town has plenty of restaurants and cafes in the center and is quite well-connected for day trips like hikes, the various castles and small towns, and even Rome. Although L’Aquila is not an incredibly big town, it is surprisingly lively, making it a great place to be. Again, I cannot recommend L’Aquila and Claudia’s BnB enough. When I come back, I hope I can stay at Casa Renzo again.

Marco has a very nice, clean and comfortable space. His outdoor back porch was our favorite place! His town is very quiet and peaceful and we had so much fun playing in the Tocco pickleball tournament. Marco is very responsive and really ensures you are pleased with your stay. We would stay here again!

BeB Residenza Avezzano apartment 3 bedrooms/bathrooms

CatherineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The Residenza is very close to Avezzano's main piazza, and an easy walk to a range of restaurants, cafe/bars, bancomats, and shops. While parking isn't available at the property, we never had a problem finding free parking a block away (next to the park located at the top of via Garibaldi).
