Simba and I lived here happily for a while, and everything was custom-made to my liking (first-floor flat). The Maisonnette is nestled in the heart of a large, peaceful and shaded garden, on the edge of the forest, crossed by deer. You will appreciate the quiet of the Nièvre countryside, where you will discover excellent local products, the charm of the Loire or the pleasure of a good book in the garden! Disconnection guaranteed: no television in our Maisonnette!

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Small house near circuit

House located in the municipality of Saint-Parize-Le-Châtel, completely renovated and well equipped (oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pod machine, washing machine), with two bedrooms, the first with a queen size bed (160 cm x 200 cm), the second with a choice between a king size bed (180 cm x 200 cm) or two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm). You will also have a large garage and a terrace with barbecue. Sheets and towels are provided. 20 minutes from Nevers (A77).

Terrace on the water, chestnut cottage

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

The river Allier is within walking distance, enjoy beautiful nature, old towns, wine estates, markets with good food or flea markets. Or bbq with us at Paraize itself, participate in a wine tasting in the old wine cellar by candlelight, or just enjoy the campfire.
