Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

We rent out our funkish house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has high standards. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom attached to this bedroom. Outside, a large terrace with a lot of living space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Get away from it all and stay under the stars. A unique small one-bedroom cabin with room for 3 people. Simple kitchen with all the equipment to be able to cook food. Chef top connected to gas. Access to water in water cans. The outdoor space is approximately 15 meters from the cabin. You just have to use wood during your stay. Tenants will get directions to the cabin.
