At this quiet accommodation you can enjoy views of the fjord from the living room, the terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. It's only 5 minutes down to the lake. Sauda is only 15 minutes away by car. Here you will find most things, including a swimming pool. Many opportunities for great mountain trips and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events.

Here you have nature and the lake "to yourself". At the same time, the cabin is only a few minutes walk from the shop and ferry dock and only 18 minutes drive from Preikestolen. Private access road and parking right by the cabin. Possibility to rent sauna and boat. Unique fishing opportunities. The cabin is located at the entrance to the Lysefjord. Extra mattress is possible.

Beautiful boathouse at Fogn in Ryfylke

The boathouse is very tastefully decorated, and is beautifully located right by the quay. Good communication makes it easy to get to/from Stavanger and attractions in the region. The boathouse has two jetties and a small boat, as well as great hiking, swimming and fishing opportunities. It is located southwest-facing which means many nice sunsets. We are in the process of developing a cozy and charming little place with brewery, cafe and shop. You can order fresh items for breakfast, lunch and dinner - everything served and sold is made here.

For a more relaxing stay, sit back and enjoy the stunning views by the fire, or soak in the hot tub Winter Season - Important Note! During negative temperatures, there is NO WATER at the cabin. We've got several good hikes and interesting sites to recommend! 🙂 Our listing is perfect for two persons. We also welcome families with kids, but are not able to host larger groups. For groups of adults, maximum four persons. For guests from Europe: we've relisted our 120 old Farmhouse in Mandal (30 min. from Kristiansand). Unique hiking area. 15 minutes drive to the starting point for the hike up to Preikestolen and 5 minutes drive to the ferry to Kjerag. You will feel your shoulders drop when you enter the door and see the amazing view of the fjord from the large living room windows. An uplifting living room with kitchen and high ceilings. The house has everything you need to cook or to enjoy yourself inside. You can take both short and long trips in the surrounding district.

Preikestolen 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from previous guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.
