Holiday rentals with lake access in Macedon Ranges Shire

We had a wonderful family getaway at Ann’s place! It was the perfect escape from the city—peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. The cottage offered stunning views, and we loved being surrounded by so many animals. The kids especially fell in love with the dogs and are already missing them! The location is also ideal, with easy access to Hanging Rock and the lovely towns around the Macedon Ranges. We’d absolutely love to come back again!

My first time booking with Airbnb. Upon arrival Suellen made you feel right at home. She showed me around the accommodation. Easy access up the driveway where you could park your car. Exactlyike the photos and more. I found it so peaceful and quiet. Everything you needed and more. Definitely will soon again

We have just returned from four fantastic nights at The Hidden Forest. Better than the pictures, the interior of the space is warm, cosy and comfortable (and astoundingly well insulated - we almost forgot we had children! The outdoor spaces were fantastic and activities provided for kept us all busy for the four days of the stay. The older kids loved the zip line, archery and row boat, our younger feeding the sheep , chickens and parrots. Temps were warm during our stay but we had to experience the fire at least one night - it gave us confidence for a trip back in winter, it was a cracker (so much so that we had to turn on the air conditioning, and much gave us confidence for a trip back in summer too!) Gisborne was close enough for supplies, and sights like mt Macedonian & Kyneton only a short drive away. We loved our stay at Khattariya’s space and are already planning a return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend this relaxing, beautiful place to escape life and recharge the batteries. The muesli and yogurt breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. We’ll be back!

What an amazing space Jennifer and Will have created here. They were so welcoming and recommended a bunch of things to do and places to eat when they found out I was visiting Kyneton for the first time. Ollie (my dog) had an absolute ball exploring every inch of the property and going for daily dips in the dams. It was a lovely and peaceful getaway, and we were supplied with fresh coffee beans, croissants, homemade jam and quince paste to enjoy during out stay. A real shame to leave, but we can't wait to visit again!

We had an amazing time at Ewan's place. Beautiful accomodation, even better than the photos. The surrounding property is stunning, and the home is really comfortable, we found it so relaxing to come back to after exploring the area. Highly recommend! Plus the host is really accommodating.
