Holiday rentals with lake access in Macomb County

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible vacation getaway, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we booked, the host's communication was top-notch, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The property itself is a gem. There are plenty of garage and parking spaces, which made it super convenient for our group. The neighborhood is friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of our stay. One of the highlights was having the lake canal water access. Also there was a new propane grill and fryer provided and the fish cleaning table was very convenientfor our group of fisherman. The decor of the home is stunning, with a beautiful beach feel that instantly put us in vacation mode. The amenities exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was provided, and then some! From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully considered. Overall, this Airbnb fit all of our needs.

BEAUTIFUL & PRISTINE! The host has thought of everything from keyless entry, top notch amenities , beautifully decorated and an open floor plan. Let’s not forget the tranquility of staying on the lake. We fished and watched so much wildlife right in our backyard. If all AirBnb’s kept up their properties like this it would be a true gem to have no worries about booking! Thank you for a fantastic getaway! We will be back for sure!

This home is spotless, has very comfortable furniture, with modern appliances, and is in a great location of Shelby Twp. The kitchen and bathroom were well supplied. The bedroom has a nice walk-in closet and a very comfortable bed. Aga is a very welcoming host and is very thorough in explaining everything you need to feel right at home. She is friendly and easy to contact if needed. Parking was easy and the neighborhood is quiet. I could not have asked for a better experience!

We had a great stay and everything was as described.The only thing that was wrong is that the bathroom plugs did not work in any of the bathrooms.We checked all gfi plugs but never could get them working.Other than that it was a perfect place to stay.

John was a terrific host and we really enjoyed our stay. He was very friendly and responsive to us and really enhanced our stay by offering us advice about the area and providing a welcome binder with local services. I had to telework one day during our stay and the high-speed Internet worked without a single issue. Highly recommend John as a host and this location was everything we asked for.

This was our second year staying here. Great value, great parking, feels like home away from home. Will be staying there next year.

The house was perfect for us. It has all the amenities that one would need for a short stay. The boathouse is definitely a plus for any fisherman. Brian went out his way to help with a boat issue that came up. Thanks Brian! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

We really enjoyed the stay and it was perfect size for us. The location was great for our visiting purposes. I would rent the place again during the summer. I will have to plan that out. Great experience. We would stay again for sure. Stephan

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

We loved our stay and have already decided that, if we return to Detroit, we will stay here again. It was perfect for the two of us. The bed was so comfy, shower was amazing and the living/kitchen area was so cozy during our nights in.

This is the favorite AirBnB we've stayed at, extremely comfortable, thoughtfully and carefully organized, and very clean. That's why we've returned for a second time this year!

I would give 6 stars if I could. Maxine was absolutely amazing and a delight. The apartment was really cool and relaxing. It is my new home in Detroit when I go to visit. They were more than just hosts that had a place. Maxine makes you feel welcome and is a delight to work with. Thank you so much for everything!

I've stayed here a few times now, and it's consistently been great. I appreciate the cleanliness and that it's on a quiet street while still being close to restaurants, shopping, etc. It's been a really nice home base for visiting local family and friends.

I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

Donna’s home is beautiful and had everything we needed (and didn’t know we needed!) for a quiet weekend away. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and the house and area are exactly as pictured. While it was just two of us, this is clearly a great spot for a larger group too. I definitely hope to be back, especially thanks to Donna’s responsiveness. A great house and a great place!

This home was perfect for our girls getaway. There was so much room to accommodate all of us. The house was well equipped with everything wee needed. The hosts were great. Our visit was the weekend after Labor day. Many of the local establishments have limited hours after the holiday. Plan accordingly. This did not have an affect on our stay, but did change our daily plans a little.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

perfect place for a fishing trip!

Amy and Beau’s place was incredible. We were able to take the kayaks out and paddle out to the bridge. We also enjoyed the comfortable accommodations—especially the beds. A fire pit at night completed the weekend. We will definitely be back!!

Shawn’s place was amazing with the easy access to beaches within walking distance of the home. The BBQ grill and the fire pit were our best place to hangout. The game room/library room is one the best room. We were a group of 4 with 2 kids and the home could easily accommodate us. The amenities provided were good too and Shawn was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

For my first stay in Lexington(crazy to say that), this had everything my family and I needed to make this a memorable weekend!

The home and location were absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as listed and was so beautiful and homey. I just wish the weather had been a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and activities. I highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks so much!
