Monthly Rentals in Macon County

We have stayed here multiple times for work in the area. The house is always clean and ready for us. If you are doing work at Thomas Hill this place is perfect.

This mother-in-law suite was very easy to find. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and we felt very safe staying there. The beds, furniture, and surroundings are comfortable and clean and the rustic decor is as cute as can be. The suite is more spacious than it appears from the outside. The living area, kitchen, laundry and bath are all on the main level and the two bedrooms are upstairs separated by a landing featuring a sitting area. We are all fairly tall and had to duck at one point on steps to the loft but it really wasn't a problem (the decor features lots of ducks, too). Our hosts were friendly and helpful, too. We were a little confused by the hot water instructions we were given and reached out for clarification. They responded promptly and even came over to give us a little demonstration. There's a little trick to "waking up" the tankless water heater but it works great and we had plenty of hot water.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! The two neighbors were pretty far away so it felt like we were all by ourselves enjoying the nature. We fished in the lake, hiked the walking path, seen lots of wildlife, and ate at one of Matthew's recommended restaurants. It was such a great stay and can't wait until our next weekend getaway!
