Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Couples and their pets love the cottage! Privately situated on 2 acres, conveniently located 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, 5 minutes to Weaverville. Cozy, charming, unique, the cottage provides a fully equipped kitchen, mosaic tile bath with walk-in shower, and clever use of recycled materials. Fenced pet approved yard ($50 one time fee covers 2 pet max), with outdoor dining, BBQ grill and fire pit. A relaxing oasis after hiking and exploring the beauty and charm of Western NC.

The Rosemary Cabin at Bluff Mountain Nursery. Nestled at the top of the hill in the heart of our plant nursery, you’ll be sure to be surrounded by beauty and nature a like. Custom built with plant and farm lovers in mind, with greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can visit our farm during your stay to meet our livestock too. Located on 60 acres of wooded land only minutes from the Appalachian Trail. It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access and Hot Tub too.

Enjoy the large deck with mountain views to catch the sunsets, take a walk on the mulched private walking trails, and end the day sitting by the fire pit under the star-filled sky... all within minutes of shops, restaurants, breweries, and hiking. A three bedroom cabin great for a couple or family. The Appalachian Trail and National Forest can be accessed just 100 feet from the front door! The well-stocked kitchenette provides for all basic food preparation needs, and the town of Hot Springs is only a two minute drive away. Hurricane Helene update: We are fortunate that our property is higher up and did not flood. Thanks to the hard work of many people, all utilities have been restored at the cabin. Our town is in recovery.

Enjoy a coffee or craft beer in front of the toasty propane log fireplace or while listening to the sounds of native birds and wildlife on the back porch.
