Amazing place! So beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was as described. Check in/out was seamless, and Lindsey communicated everything we needed to know well beforehand. We felt very supported during our stay. The cottage is well-equipped, though be advised to pick up firewood if you want to use the fireplace. The bedding and furnishings were all clean and well maintained. The WiFi is quite slow, so if staying connected or using online streaming/entertainment is important to you, that is something to be aware of. The driveway up to the cottage is steep and bumpy in places, so pick your travel vehicle wisely - especially if you are in a rental! All in all, it's an absolutely incredible place to stay and the view is beyond what you even described! Absolutely breathtaking - you truly feel like you are up in the heavens 😊 We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend a stay at Highbourne Cottages.

We had a great stay at Elsabe's cottage. A very peaceful location with great walks close by. Everything was as described and we look forward to returning sometime.

Di and Athol were absolutely wonderful and accommodating at such short notice. It's always a challenge to find a farm stay that allows dogs. And allows us to go for walks on the farm. 💓A beautiful place to site back, relax and enjoy such beautiful scenery from inside the cottage while sipping wine and near a nice warm crackling fire, and seeing such an array of bird life near the dam. The fireplace worked so well. Our two dogs loved the walks with us on the farm, such breathtaking scenery of our beautiful mountains. 🇿🇦 A memorable weekend away.
