Monthly Rentals in Mallacoota

We had a wonderful, peaceful few days at Katie’s gorgeous home. It is really close to town and surrounded by beautiful nature. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Beds really comfy, with a nice big sun drenched deck. We enjoyed playing badminton on the lawn and exploring the cute town of Mallacoota. Thank you Katie

If you love having nature on your doorstep whilst feeling right at home, Bellbird Retreat is the perfect spot to stay in Mallacoota. Backing onto Shady Gully we saw a koala, over 30 varieties of birds (lyrebirds/honeyeaters/parrots/raptors) and at night had a visit from a long-nosed bandicoot. Annette and Chris were wonderful hosts with local recommendations and even baked some delicious bread during our stay! The well equipt spacious place was comfortable and cosy. We look forward to coming back again.

We are truly grateful to the host for providing such a wonderful place to stay — it felt like our dream home. From the charming garden to the stylish and cozy interior, everything was simply captivating. The host was also incredibly thoughtful, leaving warm welcomes and helpful tips on the notice board, which made us feel very cared for. We highly recommend this place to other travelers and sincerely hope we’ll have the chance to stay here again in the future!

We initially worried that Arlene’s might be a little too far out of town, BUT we ABSOLUTELY loved the location. An easy walk to the lakefront to swim, to a pier for renting boats and a lovely walkway all the way into town (4.2km away). The local wildlife in the area was our highlight - so many birds, a koala, kangaroos and even a colony of flying foxes (only there two months a year). The cottage itself is comfortable, beautiful, private and well appointed. Arlene is friendly and welcoming. We totally recommend and would return in a heartbeat!
