Monthly Rentals in Manaton

Two Pound cottage was just adorable and probably the coziest place we’ve ever stayed! The little village of Lustleigh was picture perfect and it was fabulous to have the pub, tearoom and grocery shop less than a minute away. The house has everything you need including an indulgent soaking tub! The location was a great jump off spot for Dartmoor National Park plus endless walking paths from the doorstep. We will be back!

A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. The "prettiest village in Dartmoor" apparently! I would endorse that. So much to do on the doorstep and the cottage was very cosy. Just be aware that the pub now closes on certain days as do others in the area. Lovely walks from the doorstep with our spaniel around the village which we all enjoyed. And Allyson was brilliant when I messed up the television!

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Village location was great with walks and pubs in easy reach. Only downside for us was nowhere really to let the dogs out of the door, had to walk them to the meadow.

We had ourselves a lovely time in this cottage. Despite the bad weather (which none of us can control!) we enjoyed a peaceful getaway with our dog and cat (yes cat!). Especially enjoyed the log burner and the veranda was a great place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and take in the scenery. The garden is private and a nice space so it was great to let the dog burn off some energy! Thank you susie for being so responsive whenever we had a query or question about the place during our stay. We ran out of hot water on the first day but you were round to fix it for us with 5 minutes and it was fine after that 😊 Ps sorry I completely forgot to mention that the cutlery drawer fell off its hinge on our first night! I left the screw that fell out in the worktop, I tried to pop it back in myself but without my tools I couldn’t!
