We had a great stay. The remote location and wood burning stove plus wood burning hot tub made things feel very cozy and unique. We had a blast keeping the fires going and spending time in the tub on the deck and watching deer and birds go by. Highly recommend the experience!

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

The most amazing stay we've ever had! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We walked into a cozy house beautifully lit by a fire place. Fresh milk and eggs were waiting for us, and they were absolutely delicious. Janeen was incredibly helpful. Our little one was kept entertained with plenty of puzzles, Legos, and toys. One of the highlights was the tour of the farm. Janeen and Adrian showed us the cows, the cow shed, explained how the milking is done, and even let our little one collect fresh eggs from the chickens. The view over the mountains was breathtaking, and the river nearby made the whole place feel like a peaceful retreat. The sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning. The hospitality we received was beyond amazing. This was truly the best stay we've ever experienced, and we can't wait to come back!

The booking was accurate and not fussy in that you felt at home. Sharon was very proactive as soon as i made the booking and accomodating when i needed extra request because i had an event on. Thanks ill definitely be back!

What a great stay for our family of 5 visiting Tongariro National Park. Convenient to food in National Park as well as all the hiing trails in the area. The Barn was very spacious and had eveything we needed in addition to being located on a lovely, peaceful property. We highly recommend choosing Tim's barn if you're in need of accomodation in the area and want something unique and cozy. Tim is a great host and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable in your stay.

The Tiny Colonial House is cozy and quaint. It has everything you need. It feels like a real escape. We loved it!

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. The house was very modern, super clean, and had everything we needed. It’s located in a beautiful area—very quiet and private. Also really close to Napier and the wineries we went to. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful weekend, super friendly hosts, we were welcome to walk on the farm with our dog, the house was fully fitted with everything and was warm. Peaceful surroundings, went for two good two hour walks. Plenty to do inside if it's raining.

A supremely beautiful location. Our young boys loved the cows, sheep and deers. The house is incredibly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Hannah was also very accommodating and responsive. Thanks Hannah!

What a super place to overnight on our journey. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, comfy bed, lovely linen and Charlotte even provided beds and blankets for our doggies. This was so thoughtful and there were further thoughtful touches and gestures. Fabulous shower too. The fully fenced enclosed garden was wonderful for the dogs and peace of mind for us. Fabulous stay. We chose Rural retreat as we were going to a wedding near by and it was Easter. Very well appointed and very comfortable. Thanks Claire for making our time there so relaxing and easy.

A very nice and quiet accommodation. We liked it very much and we can definitely recommend it.

We were looking for a getaway from Auckland and decided on Taupo. Though Taupo itself can be very busy with tourism, staying at the Cottage was the perfect solution. Private, quiet, peaceful but only 10-15 min drive from all the attractions in Taupo. The Cottage is very well equipped and was in outstanding condition. Maura is a fantastic host; friendly, responsive and very helpful. We even enjoyed the animals at the farm, with Moose the Cat visiting us on a daily basis. A great AirBnb experience, would definitely book again.

There aren’t words to describe this jaw-dropping property. May be my all-time favorite AirBnb experience! It’s breathtaking in its privacy, scenery and layout and has all the amenities one would need to feel right at home! It accommodated our 8-person property easily. We will absolutely come back for another stay!

Our stay at Endsleigh Cottage was wonderful; it had everything we needed and was situated on gorgeous grounds with a genuine old world charm.

We’ve traveled the world and this was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The property had beautiful views of both the ocean and the mountains. The house was equipped with everything you could want. We particularly appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, the generous breakfast kit and the outdoor bath tub. Everything was well appointed. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

We had another fantastic stay at this accommodation and we look forward to our next stay in the near future.

I had a wonderful stay at Lesley’s place! The accommodation was extremely comfortable, clean, and cozy, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely beautiful — peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Lesley was such a kind and thoughtful host — she even helped me post back an item I had accidentally left behind (my toothbrushes!), which I truly appreciated. I would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!
