Valerie is charming and welcoming. The house matches the description well and we had a great time there Christmas with the family. A beautiful energy welcomes us. 2 areas for improvement in our opinion: - Household appliances and kitchen accessories - in low temperatures, the heating of the ground floor might not be enough

We had a pleasant week of vacation with our dog in early March. The house is pleasant to live in. The beach is really close, just like the dunes. The garden is large and fenced, with a terrace to eat outside, we were not able to enjoy it because of the weather but when the weather is nice it is probably very pleasant. The area is beautiful and the house is well located to discover it. Recommended.

We had a great holiday in this home! The terrace is really exceptional, intimate, with beautiful views. The accommodation is ideally located, a 2-minute walk from restaurants, bakery, caterer... finally, the hosts are responsive, accommodating and the communication was very fluid. We'll be happy to go back!

We stayed to go to Mt St Michael, great place for stay

We stayed 2 weeks with 2 families with each two girls (9,7,6) in Portbail. The place is clean and has a great layout. You can tell that Claire and Basile are parents themselves, because there were a lot of things that make life easier for parents, even from smaller children. There was a changing table with fan heaters and diaper bins, night lights, beautiful furniture in the children's rooms, a large climbing frame in the garden and in the spacious, open kitchen-living room area game boxes, a play kitchen and books. You can sit very nicely in the private garden and there is an outdoor shower where you can already shower the coarsest sand. From the shower you enter a utility room where you can also wash and dry. The beach is 5 minutes walking distance and offers a "reef" where there is a lot to discover. Also nice in the wind: between the rocks on semaphore beach, carteret. Portbail has a great baker and nice little shops. Favorite place!

La Maison de Victoire is ideally located by the sea, with idyllic views and direct access to the absolutely exceptional beach. Beautiful, comfortable, perfectly equipped and quiet, this is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The hosts were great, they were there to greet us and show us around. The property was very well equipped ans filled with ameneties, it was also spotless. Would definitely visit again!

Very nice house , very well equipped, perfect for gatherings for families or friends , billiards, foosball , and the pool are great places to have fun together! Large indoor and outdoor tables offer many possibilities to have good meals together and the spacious garden furniture allows you to meet after a good bath or for an apero. The ideal house and all this is close to the sea!

We were greeted by the owner of the house. She was very welcoming and explained how the house works. The house is perfectly well equipped and furnished. The sea views are fantastic. The house is perfectly organized to accommodate up to 8 guests. We'll be happy to go back.

A very nice villa on a beautiful spot for a short week of relaxation during the holidays. In a few words, the villa is ideally located on the dune at the end of Barneville-Plage, facing the sea with a view from Carteret lighthouse to the end of the beach to Portbail. Great! The decor and living spaces are as in the photos, better...with, of course, all the necessary amenities. Special mention for high-end kitchen and appliances. A master's suite on the very cozy floor and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Communication with Caroline and Thierry, before arrival, during the stay and at the time of departure was very clear, friendly and caring. So it was a perfect stay at this lovely beach house, ideal for spending a few days with family or friends. I can only highly recommend this spot for those wishing to take an iodized break in Barneville Carteret. It was perfect. Thank you 🙏

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very clean, the pool is easy to use, the kitchen has all the necessary items, the beds are comfortable. We didn't have any issues. It's really nice. The accommodation is also very well located for visiting the Breton coast. A big thank you

We had a great night here while visiting Mont-St-Michel — the view from the front of the house is stunning, especially at sunset! The views from the back of the house are beautiful too, pastoral out over the valley. Sandra was responsive and allowed part of our group to check in early and stay a bit later, which was very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

6 of us stayed at Virginie's house, 3 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for us all and we enjoyed just under two weeks there. The house is modern and very well thought out with modern furnishings and decor. All the amenities you may need are available. The garden is mostly decked with a lovely swimming pool which we all enjoyed. Upon arrival we were met by Virginie and her husband who welcomed us warmly and showed us how everything worked as well as giving us hints and tips for things to do in the local area. Just a short walk away is the beach and the small town with many small shops, bakeries, cafes and a casino. The beach is sandy and great for kids and adults alike. In the surrounding area you are only a short drive away from many activities, zoos, aquariums, theme parks etc. as well as Mont Sant-Michel. In short, a great place to stay in a location with plenty to do.

Hello, here are our findings; - The host was extremely friendly, the instructions for e.g. the pool were clear and she had given tips for nearby sightseeing. In addition, there was also a bundle with nearby shops/bakeries, information about the garage, ... Great! - The house was clean, just like the linen and towels. The bathrooms were tip top in order and provided, just like the kitchen; we had everything we needed! - The pool was very nice to have during the warmer days. We did have the impression that it was not (very) heated as described, but for us this was not an issue; - The many outdoor seating options as well as in the porch are a real plus; - The house has some lower beams hanging, as well as a lower passageway living-kitchen, which was paying attention to our larger friends; - Central location between Mt. St.-Michel and Pointe du Hoc (each 1h drive). Beach and Route Submersible very nice and easily accessible with the equipped bikes!

Our family from the US, Wales and London spent 5 amazing nights making memories at this great place! You can walk to the beach in less than 5 mins, walk to city center and great restaurants! I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Normandy area!

Great stay at this spacious ,comfortable, as described and geographically well located between Saint Malo and Cancale. A little secluded, a car (or bike) is still required to access the shops in the village. The heated pool is really a plus, we were able to enjoy it despite the rather cool weather for the season. I would recommend this rental.

Great family stay with child, parent, grandparents and great grandparents. The accommodation is impeccable and very well equipped. The spa is top notch and the house is ideally located 2 steps from the sea. Many activities to do at a maximum of 1 hour drive. Finally, David's welcome and explanations were greatly appreciated by all of us. Thanks again for a lovely vacation! See you soon!

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful and well set up for a family. It’s a well thought out space, with access from outside straight into a bathroom meaning pool access was easy! Our kids loved coming back from days out and being able to get in the pool. Laetitia and her son were really helpful before and during our stay. I would highly recommend.

Chloe, was very helpful and always responsive to any queries and questions. The house was lovely and both Chloe and her Mum very helpful and friendly. We had a group of 2 families so a second key would have been useful. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to other who are looking a lovely house in a good location Ian

Very pleasant stay, clean and functional accommodation, well equipped. Nearby walking area ( beaches trails) and many of the nearby tourist sites to visit. Anne-laure friendly and attentive, we recommend it.
