Lovely, comfortable and clean accommodation in an absolute slice of heaven. Paradise.

We had a wonderful time at Kotuku Cottage! It's just beautiful. You can sit in the big living room and look out to the tideland right behind the house and the sunlit hill on the other side. Our kids had big fun playing in the mud and water, and if you walk around the corner you're right at the ocean. It's a very quiet and private location but you can easily drive either up to farewell spit, or down to Collingwood (recommended: The Courthouse Café) or further into the golden bay. Highly recommended for a serene stay close to the sea.

We had an amazing stay. the cottage is charming and we felt like we were at our grandmother's house. All the commodities to cook a good homemade meal. Nice touches like the bowl of fruits on the table, the oil for cooking and the cereal for breakfast. The only downside is that there is no wifi but it was a great time to play board game and enjoy the view of the surrounding area. We would definitely go back. thank you

Insanely beautiful spot, almost especially because of the weather extremities! We went on adventures in the rain across the property and then settled back at the bach with the fire going and an outdoor bath running. This is the place to experience the WILD West Coast with the comfort of a warm, dry shelter. Fantastic to be able to take the dog too, and loved having the most private visitor bach on the property. We intend to make this a regular weekend escape!
