The place is beautiful! The house is tastefully decorated with large windows overlooking the sea. Everything is well thought out for a worry-free stay. The trail to the beach is right behind and very pretty to go for a walk even in winter. Restaurants and charging stations are close by. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful cottage!!!! Directly on the water, which gave us the best sunsets. Dany's place is so cozy and very well decorated, with cute touches to add that cottage feel to it. We were 5 people and a dog and we never felt crowded. We loved the big dining table to gather and play games/cards at night. As far as location, everything is very close by, just a very short drive into town, so convenient if you need to run out and get a few things. We will definitely be back!!!!

Very nice accommodation, impeccable! Very easy to communicate with the host and simply excellent service. They even offered to prepare our daughter's bed before we arrived to make our arrival easier. We would recommend this listing without reservation! 5🌟

Ancestral in the city center

This is a gem! It has that perfect cozy, charming old house feel! It feels like you're staying in someone's home, which I love. It is very clean and organized in a way that makes intuitive sense so it's easy to navigate. All of the essentials and amenities are accessible, easy to find, and plentiful (there are even condiments, coffee, and spices!). The beds and linens are very comfortable with plenty of pillow, and the place is larger than it seems on the photos. The location is also great for Matane. It made the perfe to home base, and the host was very considerate and responsive. I do want to mention that while there is a fence on both sides and the majority of the back of the yard, the yard is not fully enclosed as it is totally open on the front/parking area. It is a great air bnb, and we will be happy to come back!!

Overall, we had a great stay at this rustic house with a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River, and the location was perfect for our group of 8. The house was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the tranquility of the area most of the time. Unfortunately, one week night, the hostel located was 2 doors down had a very loud party that went on past 3 a.m., which did make it hard to sleep. Additionally, communication with the host was minimal - we were lucky to have left a day early, as we found out the key drop-off location was going to be closed on the day we were supposed to check out. Despite these two minor details, the property itself was lovely, and we had an enjoyable stay.

Hosts respect your privacy even if they live upstairs. The description of the place and the conditions are accurate. Acceptable street parking since luggage is transported very well. My stay for work was 5 nights and for the time I was there, it was fine.

A beautiful stay despite the unfavorable weather conditions. The place was spotless, the scenery beautiful. The hosts were proactive, attentive to tenants. The cottage has everything we need in addition to board games and small touches upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage in the middle of nature.

Very nice accommodation, facing the river with a magnificent view that you don't get tired of. Well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room. The play area in the basement found its followers. We hope to be back!
